What solution did you use in it, thinking it might be handy to have one of these at home

going bac to brid tomorrow to get some more bits done. ive taken all the bolts and bits from the engine to our local engineers/bolt supplier to get some stainless versions of the original ones. hopefully this will make the bolts look cleaner for longer :)

how much did the ultra sonic cleaning cost if you dont mind me asking, im debating what to do with mine while they are out.

Do the clocks hold the mileage or isn't the mileage held by the ecu so in theory you can put any clocks in and it will show your proper mileage, if it's digital that is? Shoot me down if I'm wrong I haven't looked at a working Corrado dash in over 2 years

has anyone got pics of one fitted? im interested in buying one altho i know it will be full price but wondered how they looked? is the gloss black a bit too loud? i would be tempted to have it painted satin black to dull it down a bit

holy smeg pants, how the chuff do you come across stuff like that?
-
yea im properly chuffed with the finish. shame the weather was crappy yesterday so the colour didnt show that well. he still has the bonnet, slam panel, mirrors and handles but all thos are just bits that i dont need yet and would probably damage within the time its off the road. :)

i would like air on mine but its just so expensive still. i think i would probably just go for a standard 4 way switching rather than v2

picked it up yesterday and got i back to the garage. i've pretty much run out of money until payday so i'm going to have to stop spending and make do with that i've got. The engine is pretty much painted, just gotta take off the bag and clean and paint the head, but i'm now on with the gearbox which i aren't having fun with! Took the carpets home and cleaned them, started by vacuuming them and then went onto steam cleaning them and they have come up really well! Still could do with Something to liven the carpet up a bit, might get some autoglym carpet paint and just give it a quick flick over! yup its completely standard LC5U how its come from the gun, no extra pearls or anything. I asked for him to shine his headlights on the car so i could see how good the pearl was and im impressed to say the least!. The only problem i have is the car hasnt got a windscreen and im hoping for dry weather tomorrow.

Window Rollers - on hiatus due to c*ck up
Philuk replied to Alex_G60_Fanatic's topic in Forum Group-Buys
Is 1 set enough for one window or one car? I want a cars worth whichever -
Like I say, I dunno what I want, haven't got loads to spend right now as I've gotta get the rest of the bits for the car sorted, new steering rack is the first thing in the list. I've got some money saved to get me started and then it's taking bits to the powder coaters again like hubs, then I can put he front end back together :)

I aren't 100% what wheels I'm going for but I have a set of RH ZW1 sat in the garage which are 17 but I need to buy some new lips for em cause there a bit marked. I'll be buying stainless lips if I do :)
-
No I'm not having doors Dave ;) lol, he gotta polish them yet, he will send me pics when it's done, I'm considering keeping the rh's found some stainless lips which are a bit cheaper but other than that I dunno what to go for... Long way to go before wheels are an issue tho.
-
Dave, to save me trawling to find everything that you make, can you pm me prices for the stainless bit you make and prices :) rad bracket, I seem to of read headlight screws and is there other bits?
-
Still got some?
