They haven't stopped making borbets afaik maybe rimsyle have run out. Try somewhere else or speak to borbet direct which if I remember right comes from autopart wheels, I could be wrong with that tho

Is what they look like they all centre caps are there and they ain't got no major kerb marks that I have noticed .. After maybe £60 for em..

Where you are don't you have an Andrew page or another motor factors that do fai gaskets I'm sure they do one

Get the old fashioned style weights put on.. The ones that go on the outer lip of the wheel. They dot use em alot now because of the easiness of the stick on ones. If you have standard ones put on and let them wear down then your balancing will be out still

Every year on mot it fails on top mounts and the rubbers were a good 3 years old with new bearings each year so I was gonna replace the lot. These were similar money to standard items but being poly... They do have vag bearings in as you can see the Vw Audi logo on the bearing.. Like I said they aren't as tall and don't have he recess in the top of em so maybe they are just shite.. If you go onto supersport.de and swap it to English they are listed for the Corrado and golf Toledo swell I think

just had a little thought. maybe the flat bit goes into the top of the turret and the dome bit sits on the coilover. it just didnt look right but maybe it does?

here is a picture of how they look as you can possibly make out they are D shaped and i have put the top of the D at the top of the turret (the bit you can see) underneath is a metal cup like piece which seems to sit ontop of the coilover unit so i guessed that would be the way it went.

Yea the piece that is hard ip against the top is the rubber of the top mount it's literally a dome it's not got a piece thats sunk on one side. it's literally got a plate that's sites ontop of the shocker and then it's D shaped which sits inside the top

I am interested in the answer to this aswell cause i think it's quite a long throw on the shifts. Didn't kno if the b&m mk3 one would be the same cause I havent seen one.

I've ordered some 6n polo metal caps which are shallower so will see what these are like and get some pics of all the suspension apart for you all!

That's not with the caps on tho is it cause you put them on after installing the shocker then put the nut on top

My leather collar slides off an then the plastic just comes off separately bit the same way mines always been slack tho

only thing is like i said the rubber is shaped to fit inside the top of the turret. and is flat on the other side.. gonna have to come apart again and have another look but i cant see how else it could go together..

mine just slips off. maybe its broken but if you pull of the handbrake leather bit mine slips off the same way!

yea dog leg spanner 22mm the metal dishes are the standard units and are from factory!

they were weird. like domes of rubber not like the conevntional top mount and the bearing is mounted quite a way up into it which is what lowers the car aswell. i wasnt bothered about lowering it but it came part and parcel of the uprated top mounts. apparently the Polo 6n top caps fit this but ill get it whacked off and get some pics up for you all to view! . like i say the rubber part of the mount could only fit in 1 way and thats how it came! its so odd :/ http://www.venommotorsport.com/manufact ... el=Corrado is the top mounts
