Thinking about getting one of these. What's anyone got? Cheers
-
Yea has now that some bits are going right, once the screen is in can send it to the garage to get brake bled, i also can't get powersteering to bleed so they can do that and then it will be mot it and finish up the last few bits I think. Unless I take it and get the brakes done and then worry about getting the screen done hmmm

Not at all, need to do the windscreen next, think I might insure it and then "claim"

Been back tonight, fitted the rear plate plinth, new seal and fingers crossed it doesn't leak. Fitted the slam panel. Anyone got some pics of how the bonnet cable fits. Also fitted my spoonfed splitter to the bumper! I bought the splitter on the group buy all them years ago and never fitted it

Got it all from an early Corrado, not perfect condition but useable needs a clean, where are you based

I arent here to sabotage your post but are you sure they are 8&9 and not 7.5 and 9. The set i had all them years ago were 7.5 & 9 and they didnt do 8" in the single piece. Didnt want you to sell them and find out they were wrong thats all! GLWS -
after getting an injector from dave i went back on saturday and checked the old one. all but that were pushing fuel out so i changed it, reassembled and fired the car up! Ran a bit lumpy for the first 10 seconds or so but then it smoothed out and ran fine :) - YAY down side. I was checking where the oil leak was coming from on the cooler. undid the head and took it off and it turns out the seal was split completley in two! New seal on order but wont get that till during the week so will see when i can go back and fit it :)

Registration has slowed down a bit now! 81 registered 47 confirmed :) -
Surely a Pringles tub would just go soggy?! Is it the same tub you used for a speaker aswell?
-
Nowhere to do that locally either!
-
and to add. i think i have completely misread what you want. ive got a rear subframe (one for the steering rack)
-
ill see what i can do then. gonna have to drink some pop! :D didnt go out tonight. its a bit chilly and its pitch black where the car is bar the two tubes that are in the back of the unit :)
-
I've got one that hasn't got the locating pieces on the back of it, as far as I know they don't do anything but help locate the subframe. I might be corrected tho? I'm closer but still not close
-
Are they a powerful squirt? If I'm doing it in my own? Can I just turn on the ignition and prime it or does it need turning over
-
Gonna check at work tomorrow how much a new injector is. Will try the rail with the injectors stuck in the rail and swap them round to make sure it is that single injector and not the rail

Cheers Chris, I'll be in touch could do with someone who can either do both or just Friday if your ok for Saturday, I would do it myself but I'll be running round like a blue arsed fly for a change [emoji41] -
Well thanks to Dave! Productive day, got the spark plugs out finally, and they have seen better days I must say! Dave bled the coolant a bit more and changed the rad fan switch and ran it. Still had a misfire which turned out to be one of the injectors wasn't plugged in. Put it all back together and still has a small miss fire. all we could put it down to is one of the injectors is either blocked or faulty! Fans now work when they should which makes me so much happier about it! Just need a new injector now to see if that sorts it out :)
