Rob_G60

Hi all my corrado has started playing ever since i snapped the engine mount when i turn it on it revs to 3000 rpm then drops, also it has a rough idle, when you rev it 3000 to it dies down slowly anyone know what it could be i all ready replaced the ingition coil as it was cracked Rob

yep i have in to, very good in the winter as you can start the car with the doors locked:)

i went over a bump couple of days ago and knocked the plugs of the ignition coil would turn but not start

well mate of mine works down vw sorted me out £18 later

thats the one (orange one) yeah when the engine mount snapped it got crushed and all plugs came off it to,

i want bbs rs 301, i like the wheels but just want a change

Heres mine hope to change the wheels soon

yep changed that not long ago, also changed lambda sensor not long ago

Hi all have a bit of a problem with my G60, the other week a snapped a bolt on the front engine mount which knocked my coil pack and the car cut out so we plugged it back in, but now the car revs funny, when i turn the car on it goes up to 2000rpm then dies down to about 1000 but goes up and down, i notice the coil pack has a crack in it would that cause this If not what could it be any help would be great cheers Rob

mine does it to

it was the front engine mount so got to send it to G-werks to be repaired

Hi all Had a bit of a problem tonight went over a bump in the road, car cutout and did not start, so had a look under the hood to see the wires hanging of my coil pack so put them back on cars starts ok any way i had a bit of a clunk noise when i pull away for about a week but now when i go over 3k rpm then engine clunks(quite loud) and feels like it is moving the has derv engine mounts would this be the cause car is a G60 any help cheers Rob

The day i brought my corrado i snapped the charger belt about 5 miles from home, 2 of which were m32, it was about 12 at night so we get started towing about a minute later blue lights come flashing behind, police man come and said its against the law to tow on the motorway, he then said where you going and he said hes heading that way and gave us a police escort home lol

right i unpluged the lambda sensor and the car runs fine is that at fault

Sorry to bring this thread up from the dead lol But i have the same sort of problem my car is over fueling really bad, when i turn it on its ok but after 5 minutes the car splaters, when you rev it you get alot of black smoke and smells of fuel and when you drive it feels like it dieing but then you go over 3k rpm and its ok, so i checked the plugs and they were really black so changed them and still getting the problem. so i order a new air flow meter and Lambda-sensor and gonna clean the air filter, if this does not help where do i look next cheers for any help you can give New to the corrado world cheers Rob
