Ok I was fitting my front speakers today and came across a few things firstly whats this? Wasn't plugged in. Should it be? seems to have a single blue/white wire coming off it. Another view Also this thing is next to my headlight switch. I know what the red light is but what does the symbol mean? It's got this lamp behind it Cheers for any help guys

I too am also getting pissed off with poor handling so I've got my best friend Mr Mastercard out and ordered the following :D : Fully refurbed rear axle off my mates car (loads of parts now surplus to requirements due to the mega rebuild!!!!!!!!) FK Coilovers, Track rods, Front wishbones complete with bushes, Ball-joints, ARB drop-links, Top-mounts, ARB inner mounts, Tie Rod Ends, New Cross-member, Engine Mount Front, Engine Mount Rear, Gearbox Mount, Steering rack new (got one cheap :) )! New discs and pads. Had all my wheels balanced Also treated myself to a upper strut brace. Two questions: can you get a lower strut brace and can anyone think of anything else that needs replacing? I seem to be getting a terrible vibration at about 70mph which is pissing me off!!

well i've decided I'm gonna make a false floor now. Any tips or how to's? I also need an audioscape box for a 10" sub so if anyone has one give us a shout!!! I just haven't got the 200quid audioscape want for a new one.

one is a JL audio 250watt mono for my sub and the other is an infinity 250w for my front components. They wont be gettin thrashed but i suppose they will be getting hot still though.

Hi. I know this topic has been covered many times but i was wondering if anyone has every put there amps under the rear bench? I know there isn't much air circulation under there but has anyone ever done it with sucess? I dont really want them on show and I REALLY need my boot space!!! Surely it's just the same as putting them under a false floor in the boot?

Hi. Does anybody know of any good performing SMALL amplifiers? I need a 2 way amp just to run my front components but need it to be 2x100w output but small and discreet. Any ideas anyone?

This job is a bitch to do. Remove the lower shelf, then remove a plastic cover near the flap hinge to reveal some screw. Undo them and push it from behind. Basically just keep pushin it, pullin it, swearing, cutting your hands, getting blood all over your nice new footwell mats, more swearing, few more teers.......... and out it will come!! Took me an hour!! Just stick with it mate, it WILL come out!!

oh right. well I've found some that just say they are mk2. Would anyone know the part numbers fro late spec mk2 calipers? The part numbers for these i have are 535615 424 and 535615 423. Cheers for any help

so are the VR6 and valver rado racks the same? I have a vr6 golf rack in my garage at the moment, will that fit my valver rado? Cos mine is leaking as well!!!!

reliable 160bhp 140lb/ft with a standard head and 1.8 cams, possibly a bit more, tip top condition and a flowed head you're looking at closer to 180bhp. when you say 180bhp is that at the wheels at the flywheel. I got a RR with my car (2.0 16v 9A) when i bought it and it says it has 164bhp at the flywheel, 125bhp at the wheels. Is this good?!!

Hi mate nice G60, I've got a white one as well. The thing that says dc/dc converter on is something from a headunit. There is one on the back of my alpine stereo, looks like yours has been cut? The only other thing i recognise is the little connector, it goes to the ashtray light or if you have a gauge pod it will go to that i think. Hope that helps dude.

i replaced the dizzy because i had one lying around and it was that. i now have a vibration at 3000rpm which i cant get rid of.

ok i went to take out my headlamps today and the screw which you can see through a hole in the slam panel is completely corroded. Is there any tips/tricks to get it out? cheers
