My 2l 16v ISV had siezed up and i wondered if a vr6 one would fit and do the job just the same. As far as i can tell they both look the same. The part numbers are also virtually the same other than one begins with 048 and the other doesnt but both end in 133455. I am asking as i cannot seem to source any fairly cheap second hand 16v ones but i can a vr6 one. Can anyone help?

I have tryed to research Golf mk4 rear caliper fitment and i have seen a guide mentioned several times but i cannot seem to find a guide- is there one?

Is thre any update on this? are there different typr porsche seat that will only fit? Is the mk1 / 2 golf and corrado recaro subframe different to the normal corrado subframe? Will they sit low enough? :?

No? i have been told it might be one reason why my 16v is a bit hesatant on cold days but fine on warm days. Im just trying to change little things hoping one will fix it soon! :?

Im just wondering is the 1.8 kr cold start valve the same as the 2l 16v cold start valve? As i am in need on one and i have found the 1.8kr one and im not sure if it will work the same?! :?

Thankyou, i will do that in the next few days, i have also unplugged the cold start valve and theres no change in the way it runs/starts from cold - i have read that that could indicate maybe thats knackered?

Hi I have been searching all through past posts on here to try figure out my Corrados problem an had no luck. She is a 2l 16v and every time i start hr up she cuts out again. I have to give her bit of throttle to start her and then straight after she cuts out again.It is like a silent cut out, no juddering, no irratic high revs first, just straight to cut out. However, if i drive her for a minute or so keeping my foot on the throttle and keeping the revs at 1000-2000 after a minute or so she runs fine. I have experienced no cutting out when driving other than when coming to a stop in the first minute or so of starting her up. If i have been driving for a few minutes or more then turn the engine off and bac on, beacuse shes warm she idles fine. I have soaked the isv in petrol over niht a little dirt came out but not much and refitted it- no change, the pump primes fine and im a little stuck what to do fro here. Has anyone got any ideas? I think im going to get a majot service done on her in a month or so, will that cure it?! sorry im just learning about cars and trying to do things myself :)

Just wanted to say hello I used to have a Corrado VR6 but i got into the Jap scene. Im now back with Vw's and im so happy again just need to find me a trusty Corrado. Just wondering about air con, did it come as standard insome models or was it an optional extra? Thanks :)
