all the dings taken out,facelift bonnet,bumper,wings,sorted small and only tiny patch of rust out on top edge of windscreen,smoothed bumpers and prepped car! :clap:

on drive being rebuilt,debadged etc,teachers and jnr school kids all with notepads noting trees, houses, etc. all stop and concegrate around the corrado which im under...teacher then pulls whole class round and asks the group "does anyone know what this car is!",looks of bewilderment :shrug: amongst the kids,after 5 seconds of quiet,the teacher exclaims loudly "its a porsche, now everyone say it with me!" All the kids and teachers then in unison and loudly all shout "its a porsche!" with that I kicked the VW badge out and laughed as the teacher quickly hurried the children along :lol:

its the one in the centre of the lower pulley which has the belts wrapped around it,has four bolts around it! :salute:

Imo corrado is def a mark 3 scirocco.reckon he wanted all the credit for being unique,I still think in standard guise the scirocco is a better drivers car,my corrado felt like a tugboat compared to my scirocco when i had them at the same time. my c is just a posher version! Evolved nice though afta a few mods! mmm revolving lights in grill...joebloggsVR69 car designer in the making :thumb right:

Dark Burgundy Pearl has to be the classiest colour out there although I used to have an alpine white scirroco and looked everywhere for a white corrado to no avail :( . while in cornwall eating cream cakes the yokels on several occasions commented on what an unusual colour that posh or porsche car is?thats when it sunk in that hey this colour aint too bad after all.after looking at several corrados, this was by far the cleanest with most VAG history (15 years) even though it weren't my first colour choice.grown on me ever since! :luvlove:

The BRDC have stuffed him ever since he was a driver,Quite like Bernie and hope we will see formula 1 on the streets of london(his idea).saw a promo for this a couple of years back and it was excellent,he has been thwarted from every angle.

shouldnt be any lasting damage,put a fan heater in car,dry out completely,presume you've taken the carpet up and dried that also with all the underlay etc.wet footwells are not unheard of in corrado world,if you are still worried waxoyl or use some rust inhibitor on the floorpan.the cooling system doesnt just comprise of a litre of water in an expansion tank..you've emptied the entire contents of the rad,pipes,matrix etc.

ive had 49mpg going down the m3 at 55mph in my g60..got 9mpg on the way back when a bmw thought he had bigger balls under his hood. 8)

knew you would have it sussed soon as.good luck with the rest of the motor.def coming together now. :) I think the ability to raise/lower the spoiler at will is one of the coolest features on the car.I use it manually to ward off potential saxo,clio etc wanabees.when they get too close behind I raise it revealing a small message.they normally back down.A few dont and get humbled the other way :evilbat: heh heh!

no! change the lot.it will be too unbalanced. speaking from experience when my front coilover developed a leak.I temporarily put on two normal type legs to get through the MOT.also dependent on what make/damp/height adjustability. few variables to give a proper answer but in short it aint the done thing to to wear a plimsoll on one foot an nike air on the other. :brickwall:

hi all! just wanna pick your brains( halloween pun )...... what would be a sensible price to offer on a g60 gearbox.(was on ebay at £185 but got no takers. apparently has 150k under its belt and is out of the motor so can't see it in action. my box synchromesh has given up from first to second. Recently from second to third is giving up.what to do? shall I get another box or get my box with 100k reconditioned. does anyone know how much this will cost and any suggestions on anyplace reputable or tried n tested! preferably in south/south east england. advance respect for any contributions..
