Best corrado colour by far:
-
Im sure this is common on german cars. I have noticed this on 3 VWs and 2 3 series BMW's that ive had. Your lucky at least you can mess with the ride height and get it even! The topmounts were changed around 6 months back when the coils were fitted I'm sure. Oh you have a PM Adam

I have a 2002 Audi A4 sport tdi saloon. Can't recommend it enough - Same 130bhp engine as the golf but nice sized saloon with a huge boot and a lovely interior. It easily manages over 50 MPG on a run and is still fairly brisk. You should be able to get one with under 100k on the clock for your budget or for about 500 less a more or less identical passat tdi sport. I went for the Audi as its just got a bit more class and all the cabbies drive passats in Brum.

Coming on a treat Si. Agree your letting it down with the dodgy pics tho mate. Ive got some 5mm eibach spacers if you want em, looks like the rears could do with pushing out a touch.
-
Why you doing this to me?? - I know what you mean about the handling - lift off oversteer is all down to the neuspeed ARB mate. The H&R's are the shiz aswell. And get some daylight pics up or get down to mine and ill get my SLR on it. I wanna see the paintwork now youve polished it! Seriously though, I'm glad youre enjoying it Si - its a top motor in the best colour IMO - The Magnex/miltek combo gives a great soundtrack too. Look after it and dont let a woman talk you into selling, unless they promise to buy you an M3!! Oh and its Omar mate Come and pick up the bumper aswell its a lot nicer than the one you got now.
-
Zak the cars absolutely stunning - I was inches away from doing a deal on a certain set of RS301s I think you know about but decided to sell the corrado. I will have to buy myself something monstrous to forget about corrados. Anyway thanks for the advice youve given me whilst I had my rado its was much appreciated. Oh and a late Eid Mubarak - hope you had a good one. Take it easy - Omar
-
f*ckrees! LOL havent heard that for a while.
-
speedlines! do we all agree they are the best wheels?
VR6C replied to marmite monster's topic in General Car Chat
Speedlines over RS301's? thats just crazy talk! Si - you need something a bit more 'special' on the rado mate. Dont forget about the bumper. -
I have some new ones that I will be puttng up for sale soon - 85 notes posted to your door if your interested. Cheers
-
Cheers Leon. Yes I have a pair of grey leather recaros in very good condition with all the heating and electric adjustment looms and switches. Let me know if you are interested.

sounds dodgy, does the engine run? Hope you get it sorted without too much cost. If it is the engine, I have one with 92K and FSH that ill be selling at a very resonable price, and im localish - Sorry for the shameless plug!
-
Jim how can you say my posts are OTT if you dont know what was said? However I can appreciate you are trying to calm things down

Your nose must be constantly brown mate! For a start, I neither need nor desire your 'caring' if and when (God forbid) my car is involved in accident, Im sure ill be recompensed via insurance. Secondly, if you can condone the comment made then you are as big an arsehole as the OP. Its difficult to put across what was said now that the comment has quite rightly been deleted but If the comment was, in anyway shape or form, justified then do you think it would have been removed by a moderator? I think youre losing sight that we are talking about a damaged piece of metal here. Ok so its a corrado shaped piece of metal which is a shame but it can be repaired very easily. Oh and I would quite happily choke you with that wagging finger if I thought you had the minerals to justify your point in 'real life'. I fear im coming across as quite an angry man by my posts in this topic but I can assure you im not. If the OP had put her hands up and admitted that she was out of order you wouldnt have seen another post from me in this thread but she didnt. What she did was try to brush it under the carpet so to speak.

See now youre starting to get on my nerves, the dumb 'sigh' obviously means you are either clueless about the impact of the comment you made or you dont care. whichever category you fit in, it doesnt say a great deal about you now does it? I think maybe your idiot comment should not have been removed so any decent people could see what you typed. Why dont you go hide in a corner and 'cry for no reason' - to quote another one of your lines
-
Thanks Walesy - I apologise if I came across harsh but felt it was warranted.
-
Nice - looks a lot like a white version of Furkz old corrado. I really like it 8)

Too right. Im watching this with great interest aswell. Well done on your hard work - Im sure youll make some good money once you have a polished product :D

Definitely interested in this. Get them pics up ASAP - I'll come and see you as soon as I check the pics out (im in Brum too). Can you do any other interior trimming?? Cheers -
Yes the KW's are just over 550. I am in the market myself and the only other option I feel may be worth a look are the weitec gt's, theyre about £470. Im gonna try and stretch to the KW's as nobody I know has a bad thing to say about them and I know I'll kick myself for scrimping in the long term.

Stick with it mate, make sure you get your money back or the wheels. I wouldnt give a monkeys why the site was created. If you visited LMREPS and it was from there that youre transaction began, they should be sorting this out. What if someone else ordered via the lmreps and the same thing happened? Whats all this nonsence about deposits being non-refundable aswell, the company have clearly failed to meet their end of the bargain by not supplying you with wheels therefore the deposit should most definitely be refundable. There are clearly people affiliated to this website postng on this thread. Why cant you help this guy out instead of trying to pass the buck? Really makes me angry when people get ripped off :censored:
