alright chaps,in need of some help.i pulled a battery out of my garage to connect to my c.unknowingly it was the wrong one and the terminals were the opposite way round.anyway had it connected for a very short time untill i smelt smoke.oopsey.i took the glovebox out to find this thing in the picture.disconnected it and reconnected the battery(correctly)and everything was fine.wasnt starting it as the supercharger is out awaiting rebuild.i only connected it to open the sunroof to check the drains as the passenger footwell was damp.anyone any idea what it is??located above left behind the glovebox.cheers.

its the inside of them!!looks like a bit of a cnut!!!bought a g60 with a foolked gharger and the inside is caked in bad oil!!need to clean before i put new charger in!!

has anyone cleaned the boost pipes from the charger to the intercooler etc??what is the easiest and best way to do this??cheers.

hi guys.been looking to put audi alloys on my 92 g60 but they are all 5 stud where as mine has 4 studs.are later corrados 5 stud??can my hubs be changed to 5 stud to accomodate these wheels??any input would be appreciated. ---------- Post added at 06:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:30 PM ---------- found some reports in the search.sounds a bit of a nightmare!!a few different ways of doing it and a few arguments over mk111 golf and vr hubs???

best thing to do with the spoiler is to strip the mechanism out from the boot lid.take the spoiler of with the 2 allen bolts and undo the 4 bolts holding it to the boot.disconnect the wiring and wriggle it out.strip it down,clean and re lubricate.re fit.mine never worked atall but i did this and its brand new now!!

hi chaps.i have just got a silver g60 after my aqua blue one self ignited itself..boo.anyway the car is pretty good but needs tidying up and i am going to re-spray it.ive never liked silver cars even though my bmw is also silver.i quite like the gunmetal grey type of colour but if silver is as rare as they say would it be worth keeping it silver??what you think?/

i have been trying to upload pictures of my old car and new one to my profile but for some reason it wont upload them.they are all from a mobile phone and i have managed 2 but the rest wont upload.any ideas??also how do i change my profile picture?cheers!

hey guys.bought a g60 a while back to restore to its former glory but the supercharger was gone.took it to bits to find the diffuser in pieces.boo.anyway everthing else looked o.k.as some of you may have noticed the charger for sale on ebay with a crack at the oil line inlet.the guy assured me that the rest was a.o.k so i bought it.i hope i can make 1 good one out of the 2.knowing my luck then that would be a no chance!!anyway i hear g-werks has stopped trading so it looks like jabba sport.anyone had any dealings with them??cheers.

looking for a charger for my g6o.my diffuser has gone.casing is o.k so if anyone needs a casing let me know.or if anyone has a spare diffuser lying around the house let me know;-)

you will miss driving it mate but it will always be there!!i had mind stores in a barn for a year thinkin it was safe!!well it was to be fair but when it was taken out for a start up and wash it self ignited itself!!i recon mice chewed some wiring and shorted the electrics out!!so please be warned to keep a close eye on it if it is stored and when running!!i would hate there to be another man down!!

yeh mate!!i will try and get photos up!!you wouldnt believe it when u see it!!how metal can burn like that is unbelievablle!!once aluminium starts there aint no stopping it!!couldnt get near it for fear of it exploding!fire brigade ripped the dash out coz the bulkhead was glowing!!my luck suck man!!

well here goes!!i bought ma g60 7 years ago and loved it!!then a big end wentso i said'just do it'.so i did!!reconditioned the engine,supercharger done to stage 4,new g max suspension,new calipers the works.had it stored in ma mates barn lookin the part!!he takes it out th move bales,leaves her runin and next thing shes on fire!!destroyed!!fookin mice!!thats our postmortem anyway!!not good!!tried to upload photos but no joy!!must be a blackberry thing!!anyway i thought i wouldnt give up on them and bought another one!my mistake again.the chargers fooked!!am i cursed or should i percevere???

my supercharger diffuser has broken and therefor my charger has said goodbye.not easy to come by now!anyone??
