i have a badge which funnily enough has the s broken off!!the upercharged bit is good but the s int great.a wee touch up and it would be fine.free plus postage if ur stuck!!

well my friends,i have a bit of a predicament!!i have a project on the go just now which is a satin silver g60!!i bought her with a blown charger but mr john mitchell soon sorted that.she is solid underneath and the interior is very good indeed.all she needs is a re-spray and she would be mint!!my problem is that i have decided to head to new zealand later in the year and cant decide wheather to finish her or sell her.i aint breakin her thats for sure!!the lock up costs £175 a month and im not sure wheather i spend the cash to get her a1 and never get it back or just try and find someone who will buy her as she is and cut my losses!!decisions decisions????

Not sure how many silver ones there are but according to a post on here there are only 370 g60's left.my old one isn't registered yet so around 369.maybe more have died since then.cant be many silver ones!!nice to find out though!!well we know there are at least 2:-).

Snap!i have a satin silver project also!!not far from hitting the highway but I think I'll keep her cosy over the winter!!good luck with her she looks good!!

Run in times are usually 500 miles not exceeding 4000 revs!frustrating indeed!not easy not putting the foot to the floor but worth it!!expensive piece of kit!!cant wait to get mine back on the road in the spring!!

hub nuts shouldnt be that tight.too tight and u will destroy the bearings!!

now they would also look the tits but as my car is garaged undergoing a fairly pricey going over so they may have to wait.just spent 600 on the supercharger.awchy!!

been thinking of fitting these to my c but was wondering if anyone out there has these fitted and has a picture for me to nosey at.in order to fit them i need to do the 5 stud conversion and would like to see how they look before i jump in!!you can get 17"s but i think they are reproductions!any thoughts would be appreciated.cheers.

no vw garage near me unfortunately and couldnt find on on any vw spares sites.being a bit lazy i went for ebay.fendverg this new one is orange and to be fair the car is in the garage awaiting its great comeback and yup it did have a little oil leak.one will investiate again.cheers lads. ---------- Post added at 11:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:03 PM ---------- being lazy again but how much oil is put into it?ma mate has one of those suction pumps(stick it down the dipstick.great invention) and after removing the sump plug there was nothingi know myself there should be more that 3 ltrs but anyone know exactly??

its the orange housing for a g60!!pushed it over the lip but checked it next to the bits of the old one and it was longer???held the dipstick higher.glad i checked!!

as above really.got one apparently for a g60 off ebay but i checked the oil level beforhand and found it to be much longer than origional hence not even reading oil level so beware!!

a couple on ebay just now!!and yes jmr(john mitchell racing)is ur man!!he managed to make 1 charger out of 2 f**ked ones i had!!legend!!
