So I good investment then? But then I should have her looked over by a mechanic first to make sure that there aren't things that need doing first that I haven't noticed like the heavy accelerator pedal, hopefully that is just a bit of oil. Cheers, Paul

Does anyone have sill covers or are they really tacky and if anyone has how do you fit them? I'm also finding the plastic part that goes over the handbrake is needing replacing, can anyone tell me where to get one? Cheers, Paul

Can anyone from Brighton area tell me of a good garage to have my Corrado looked at and cared for, I've been to Charlie and he is good but has a waiting list as long as your arm, I've got my other car booked into Longs for Wednesday but have never been there before so don't know if there is anyone that really knows his Corrados, or hers, sorry girls, lol.

Thanks guys and girls. I'll have it looked at asap, I was told by someone that the difference could be that I'm used to my Golf which is 8v and this being 16v means it is harder to get going at first but when you have it going it will go better and quicker for longer :0) Is this crap? As for replacing it, I've only just got it, lol.

Spark plug leads? What are they made from Gold, they cost £137.00. :0( Please tell me more as I'm confused. Cheers.

I have just bought myself a G reg 1.8 16v Corrado and after having a Mk1 Golf GTI 8 the accelerator pedal feels heavy, with my Golf I only needed to touch the accelerator and it would go but when I test drove the corrado it needed more pressure, is this the same with all Corrados or is something wrong? I have been told by the insurance company that they won't insure me without a Cat1 Thatcham approved system fitted so I need to find somewhere that will insure me on my 1.8 16v asap, it has been lowered and has 15" BBS alloys. Cheers, Paul
