VR6 | Gun Metal Grey in Lincolnshire - £600 I've owned this 1994 vr6 for approx 6 years & has done approx 124000 miles. Has been Sorn & stored inside a garage for 3 years now. Last year i decided with the car having such a good shell for it's age i would give it a full respray. Due to circumstances & priorities changing i have never got round to having it finished so it's time for me to find it a new home & somebody who has the time to complete it. Work done so far ... Fully de-glassed & tinted whilst out of the car. Upon removing the front screen i noticed a small amount of corrosion behind it on the lip that screen sits on. This was then cut out & a new strip welded in & properly sealed. Completely flatted off in preparation for the respray. At this point it became apparent that one if not most of the cars previous owners had the car repainted in it's original colour as i counted 10 coats inc the factory primer during this prep process. Both the bonnet & sunroof got stripped back to bare metal & are both primed & ready to paint. Fully demoulded & smoothed along the doors & wings. Roof mounted ariel removed & smoothed. Debadged & smoothed on the rear. Plastic numberplate surround removed & a metal plate shaped & welded on to tailgate. Runs in nicely to the lights & done properly by a bodyshop. Audi flush handle in passenger side door, filler needs rubbing down & the drivers door still needs to be cut out & welded in . Got the handle & mounting plate. Also got a passenger side door without the handle cutout incase you prefer having the original handles - To be included in sale Basically the whole car has been prepped inc the removal of any scuffs, marks or scratches. 90% done Brand New front screen & rubber trim - Cost £200 To be included in the sale 18''Audi wheels Momo Wheel & Boss - already fitted Blue Samco hose kit Black Cloth seats - great condition Laserline full closure, alarm with twin immobilliser Tracker - Not currently registered Sony mp3 player Sunroof not working - Common Problem Heater control unit only works on settings 1&2 No Radiator or Exhaust Small area on drivers sill needs Welding Recorded as Cat C - Minor front end prang. My fault although harshly judged in comparison to damage caused :( I'm selling this as an uncomplete car & unfinished project so am open to sensible offers around my asking price. I'll be happy to provide any more details or pictures upon request. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE Price now dropped to £600 no offers - Must go or will be breaking

Hi,i fancied the exact same handle conversion in my Corrado & last year searched absolutley everywhere for a complete pair of modified doors with no success. Upon doing so i found an Audi A3 handle conversion kit for sale at venom motorsports, thinking happy days i was told that although still advertised they were no longer available. I urged if not begged them to get me the kit & when they came back to me was told that the guy who manufactured them has broken his tooling & would not been doing anymore. It was at this point that i decided to bite off more than i could or should have chewed.. i picked up a pair of delocked rear doors from an Audi breakers & took them along with the car to a bodyshop to be chopped out & welded into the doors. They did 1 as a test & 8 hours later had it welded in & working for me then to decide that i didn't like the look of it. It seemed to sit too low although the suage line on the door governed where it had to sit. They also had to construct & weld a nut & bolt mechanism to actually strike against the lever inside the door. It seemed to have a glitchy feel when pulling on the handle although none of the rubber seals or glass was fitted which wouldn't have helped. Because of this i decided not to proceed with the other door & then had to source a replacement door .. not my best move in hindsight :) The moral of the story & the whole point in writing to you is to point out & hopefully make you aware of & avoid potential poor mods. Cheers & good luck with your search

Hi Edd, i have got a brand new screen & the 2 part rubber trims for the surround. It was sourced through a windscreen guy who was local to me & is the direct replacement for the original. The glass manufacturer is Pilkington. I bought this to fit into my Vr as it was undergoing a full respray but have never got around to finishing it so i've had this screen now for well over a year infact it is still in safe storage at the guys unit . At the moment i'm stuck & can't quite make my mind up whether to try & sell the whole car as an unfinished project inc the new screen or break it down for parts & sell the screen & trims seperately. If i was to sell the screen & trims i'd be wanting to recoup a majority of my outlay which if memory serves me correct was around £300. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers Adi

I have a handle taken off my 1994 vr6 corrado. it's in perfect working order but the best of it is that the alloy striking arm has been professionally replaced with a steel part that does exactly the same job but will never snap as with the original alloy handle interior. I have had numerous handles break on me in the past so i decided to finally put paid to this common fault & it led me to coming up with a permanant solution. I also have the passenger side handle on which the alloy striking arm has been replaced. Let me know if you're interested :)
