  1. that second pic looks photoshopped? the front bumber and side strips?
  2. I had a 1.4 205xs which i tuned up myself, was running mega compression and made a custom inlet manifold and bigger carb it was wicked fun to drive, had to get rid of it though as the best i got out of it was 20mpg! the fun times will outweigh all the times it breaks! get 1!
  3. HEAVY cars! at least it feels heavy when you have to push it around the garage, it took at least 2 mechanics to move 1 of those at my garage, and there was nowt wrong with the brakes!
  4. i always use blue point bolt removers at work, they're fantastic! they have a reverse thread so you just hold it against the head and undo.

  7. Sorry if this has been asked before but if i wanted to build a 1.8 20vt corrado then which car should i start with? I would be fitting coilovers and bigger brakes so would i be better off getting a cheaper valver leaving me more money to spend on the conversion or is it best to start with a higher power model such as a g60 or vr6? :confused4: :shrug:
  8. I was towed 30 MILES with a rope in my old Vauxhall Frontera by my dad once when my fuel pipe burst! was one of the most un-nerving experiences of my life!! It was getting dark aswell, bad times lol

  12. I live in coventry, dont have a rado yet tho, just a mk4 golf 1.8 20v didnt know about the dubclub meet mite have to check it out. aaargh gotta go for a job interview at prodrive 2day, brickin it! :help:
  13. hiya, what is plusgas? Are the rear bushes as hard to do on the rado as they are on a mk4 golf?
  14. lol the problem i was refering to is the fact that he thinks he is getting 600bhp out of it... on standard internals??
  15. lol i'd like to see the result of trying to get 600bhp from a 1.6 vtec on standard internals! he must really have some tricks up his sleeve! :?
