after leaving my rado with the garage on friday they said that the throttle problem just needed the adjustment screw winding in......which seem to fix it for a few days.....but after the adjustment was made i marked the screw and it seems to have worked its way out under vibration and the car is idling at the higher rate again, new throttle body me thinks.......

sounds like a plan, i need to hunt down a moon roof and all the gear for it! Problem is i have no idea how to get the current roof out as it is no working in anyway, i am sure i'll find out tomorrow when i get in the garage with in and a box of tools......only joking need to find a roof if anyone hears of one, give me a shout, not too bothered about it moving, just wanted an extra window and a roof that doesnt leak. alothough i think some of the leak is down to the chanel that drains the water away from the sunroof being blocked, i only think this as my mate had a problem similar in his mk3 golf, am i right????

Been thinking about all the roblems my sunroof has caused over recent years, especially the small leak i seem to have acrewed in recent months, and i came to a couple of solutions Replace the motor and get it running again, :? Leave it and hope for the best :? :? . . . and something a little bit different, have the sunroof and all gear removed and have it replaced with a toughed glass plate and sealed in place........ the last one is a little mod i have really been wanting to do but i dont have a clue who to go to with it as i would then need new headling etc........... gents your opinions please....... 8)

NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dont sell her, you cant do that!!!! i had a look under the bonnet last night and the throttle cable tension is fine but the lever on the top of the throttle body isnt returning to the rest position, mine is in tomorrow morning first thing so as soon as i know anything i will PM you both and let you know it wont be expensive but it will probably take a bit of time.

Morning all, Need a part number for the rear brake sender on my 1.8 16v, the seal has a small leak on it and by the looks of things the rear brakes aren't working too well.......... where is that best place to get this from?

Does anyone know any good exhuast companies in the bristol area?? the rad is going to need one by the time the MOT comes around!!!

I am having a similar problem with my 1.8 16v, but without the stalling.....not tackled any sensors yet but i am going to take it to be serviced this week as its been 12k since the last one. the other thing with it is if you dip the throttle the revs go up rapidly as you would expect but it takes quite a while to return to 1,100rpm......sticking trottle??? what does everyone think? one thing i did notice is the temp is up by a couple of degrees but i put that down to the car revving slightly higher

Afternoon all, just just in my corrado after a few months away and the headlining is now drooping - as it the glue has gone and there is no way back, and also the sunroof doesnt work at all!!!!!!!! Any advise would be grand! I have been thinking about taking her to a upholsterer and ge the roof trimmed in black vinyl, but as the car only came with the light colours as standard i really dont want to mod the car away from standard stuff. Does anyone know if there is a company out there that makes new headlinings? :(
