2K to spend on my car, what to do first?
yacobwood replied to stingman123's topic in General Car Chat
Sorry to be off topic but i have just laughed quite alot about stingman123 profile pic  -
I wouldn't mind but one drives a 1.4 Corsa, bangs on about his love for anything Australian and rear wheel drive and thinks he would beat me in a race  One drives a Rover 25. Need i say more. One drives a Ford Fiesta One drives a Caddy  (he doesn't rip the Corrado) One drives a pea coloured Focus with a duc taped door. One drives a 300 odd brake Focus RS (TBH i think hes got the edge on me  ) That's why its so annoying

Lol how come no-one picked up on this one!? Bloody hell, that puts some 'orrible images into ur head mind :gag: Re inaction :onfire:

I think i just love the Corrado regardless of all the bad points. For instance, Ive been away all weekend driving a Passat. I got back into the rado which was more cramped, Took more turns of the wheel to corner and the brakes are less responsive. There were rattles and my own safety is at risk due to no airbags  . But the thought that ran though my head as i pulled away was, 'ahhhhh that's better' I just love the Rado Side note - What star safety rating is a C? 1*?

Apparently the seat colour is the same as some Ferrari's and therefor cool :cuckoo:
-
Seems im alone in my views here :( I think the alfa from the front is stunning but the more you walk round it the uglyier it gets and by the time your at the back :gag: I would take the Rado anyday of the week
-
Thought i would include you all in my torment at work. I put forward that this VR (stole from another thread) is absolutely stunning  I would go so far to pay for this with body parts i want it that much climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdf1.JPG[/attachment:86ozgtpy] To which they all said this was way nicer 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdf2.JPG[/attachment:86ozgtpy] 3.JPG[/attachment:86ozgtpy] ^ Seriously Am I going mad or are they all tasteless morons!!

With the 8v i get about 450 miles to a tank which is about £65ish. Dread to think of a VR6 :pale: And public transport. From where i live to Stafford on the bus use to cost my brother 85p. Two years later it cost me £2.50. That was 5 years ago. If it continued like that, it would be £6.60 now

I watched a very old Jezza vid not long back and a guy in Germany set up signs just before the Police car hiding in the bushes saying, 'Please are sitting around this corner'. The Police realized this after a while and moved on not being able to do anything about it  And then we move on to England. Didn't a women have to pay a fine because a burglar who was on her roof, fell through the skylight and landed on a knife she had left on her chopping board.........IN HER OWN KITCHEN!!!! How is that her fault!!! :censored: :bad-words: In that case, take away the fine and just give them points......

Thats one thing i don't get with PS. They have two perfectly good triggers where you can control the acceleration as required. So what do they do. Set the default acceleration button to X where your either accelerating like you life depended on it, or just coasting. Who do they hire to test these things. Im a tester  Ill gladly do it :) This isnt a problem for some people tho as they have awesome set up's (Critical_Mass with his ironing board  )

The big bucks early on is in the Special Events. You need to level up to unlock them but once you are able to compete in them, do it. The world rally one will get you well over 100K and you get to test drive 5 different supercars :)

So you lost the certificate proving the fact your sane? Well if that doesn't tell ya i dunno what would

-

Thats a time saver. I tried a drift race on the seasonal events. Comfort tyres on an 800hp F450 is not good  But my first attempt i got an impressive 5000 points. Was quite chuffed with myself until i saw the top score is 25,000 and i ranked about 800,000th :epicfail:
-
Does that mean you can come 10th and get 1,000 CR Then come 9th and get 2,000 CR Then come 8th and get 3,000 CR etc :norty:

I have my F430 Scuderia on page 14. With 700BHP I find it difficult not to lap people :norty: True gent, thanks very much for the temporary loan. Much appreciated! It was only for one 3-lap race in the Ferrari challenge on Pro. I just think it's a bit daft buying a Ferrari (unless you want one) for one race ... when the prize is another Ferrari! Anyone care to lend me a quick Lambo for an hour or two, preferably the LP 560-4 2008 .... ? More than happy to reciprocate if anyone needs something specific ...? No Problem. What you think of her? :D Sounds like a lawn mower for some reason but is quite quick
