right i know theres afew posts on heating issues etc here already and ive read through most but am still clueless to my problem. basically: after driving the car to the mot place(had been off road for 2years previous to me buying it) i pulled into the petrol station and steam billowed out form the engine bay, had a look and found one of the coolant(im guessing) pipes which enters to inside the car from the block had popped off and pissed water and steam out.now if im right is this pipe and the one next to it what give heat when u put the heaters on inside the car? if so i think i have a heater problem/blockage. now for my real question, can i simply remove both of these pipes from entering the car and somehow join them to each other with an extra piece of pipe bypassing inside the car?to prove it is a blockage or fault with the heater part? or can i jus block both ends? any help, advice anything will be great as i really want to bring this baby back to her former glory and this is disheartening after the work gone into it do far many thanks in advance o and PS its a 2.0 16v if that helps

OMG im well upset, i spent two evenings doing a photoshop of my corrado and apart from the wheels and a couple of tiny touches its exactly that one! dammit!anyone know if this is a UK or foreign one?

most genius way around the flat battery problem would be either tails from battery tucked up under bumper, or what about putting a 12v battery connector behind the mirror so u cd slide it out and stick a battery on there worst case.im debating dehandling atm as findin ti hard to find a handle that will go with the lines

im considering exactly the same thing atm. want a newer style handle, in even considering just removing, but on photoshops i feel some form of handle will look better.if i come across anything il let you know dude

looks abit sad sitting there.but im sure the promise of painted and MOT'd has put a smile on the rado and ur face! hey if WIPs were ever 'completed' im sure someone could come along with a fresh new mod and then ud realise damn i gota do that.its never ending with cars to keep em upto date and how u want them!

ah k cheers well the one im looking at doesnt come with any hangers so id get either the old one welded onto it or make a hanger as i have a mate who welds might go for it at the price it is!

just a quick one tried searching but wasnt coming up with the answer i wanted basically will a vr6/g60/16v exhaust be the same pipe size fitting etc or do they all vary?seen some for vr6s for a much better price than 16v ones and was wondering if they were different from the pics they look the same cheers in advance

glad to see another rado owner coming back, dont know u from before but ur just another proof that im right to fall for my rado after just a month!something about em! looks like a nice project you ot there, as mentioned clears arent to my personal taste but as you mentioned if u get bopred of them red/clears r only a can of tint spray away!

ive tried searching the forum but as yet nothing on it except for forced induction routes, could people give me some pointers in the direction of a thread or what the usual route is for this engine ive got some KR cams on there way to me hopefully and the new panel filter and de-snorkled, drilled airbox but what would be next?remember something on gas flowing them....

this was a bargain 2bh, tho it needs a mot n tax its in good shape.owner needed to get rid fast due to baby due! they put it up for 500 then changed it to 900 but i saw the 5 price so i got it for that

well picked this up at the weekend for the sum of 500english notes needs some t cutting, interior cleaning.but apart from the front bumper n light pretty good condition.i scab of rust on the side sill.easy fix tho. then onto modifying! anyways afew pics: (bonnet is blue atm as old one was dented and had some old wheels off my clio sitting in the garage so test fitted one, fits just needs some new spigot rings. views and opinions on car plus wheels all welcome 8)

thought as much. didnt think id have a special edition or anything for 500quid! tho as said i do kind of see raddos as special/limited editions as there so far and few between, round by me anyways!

in my raddo behind the gear knob i have a karmann badge, my mate is trying to tell me its a special edition or soemthing but im doubtful was this on all raddos? help me settle this one please!

sounds like it could be abit of a mission, but looks alot better and i miss the black roof of my old polo GT so it will have to be done do some people already have black ABC pillars as i seem to its just visors and roof id need to do whose the man i want?!

hey all just picked my first corrado up today.and been lookig around the site, tops job on it! afew quick questions(didnt really know where to post them!) what is the best oil for the 2.0 16v?as my local halfrauds doesnt know!! also i see alot of talk about 16v turbos.is that a conversion on the 2.0 16v or a g60 converted? i did try searching for these things but came up with nothing usefull! thanx in advance!
