Hey Peeps. My cars going back into storage for 7 months, and its covered 1,200 miles since last oil change in July 2016. The oil doesn't seem to have discoloured much so it worth doing another oil change before parking it up? Gus.

Nice! Any pics of the engine bay and interior. Where abouts in Derby are you, my car spends its winters at my folks place in Stenson Fields, South Derbyshire

As mentioned the one I have is an OE VW item, but let me know if your interested.

Cost me £67, and its still virtually new, so not sure what its worth now. £55 inc postage. Can e-mail you pics if interested. Gus.

Same thing happened to me days after getting major work done from Stealth. I got the original hose new only done 100 or so miles if your interested. I made the switch to Roose kit.

Is this meet up gonna happen, if anything I'm sure a few us can meet up in a pub car park one Sunday afternoon. There a few nice beer garden places in Knowle, Solihull.

Cool, will check it out, but I'm sure the previous owner replaced the grommets not long before I bought the car.

Thanks for the heads up Jim, so do you think its this flaw that over time leads to battery trays and inner wings rusting.

So after the recent constant rain over the last few days, I've noticed water collecting on top and along the right side of the battery. Also rear boot carpet was a lil damp. Any ideas to the cause, or where the leaks could be. Really regret not getting a house with an adequate sized garage.

Just checking if this the correct pump for late 1995 VR6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Made-Germany-Electric-water-pump-251-965-561-B-VW-Bosch-0392020024-039202008-/172376153449?hash=item28226b5d69 -
Which spacers did you go with?

Glad I asked the question now :)

Decided on the gloss black with the clips. Are these a straight swap over or do I need to utilise anything from the original set up.

Just as FYI.. Roose have a Cyber Monday offer. Just got 25% off the complete VR6 kit. Use code: CLUBCYBER25

I tried and returned a set of the Stance+ 15mm spacers from Venom Motorsport a few weeks back as they wouldn't sit flush on the hubs. Keen to know what other types people have had better results with. Here's a YouTube video of a VR6 Raddo with 20mm spacers all round, looks decent.
-
Any idea how I can resolve this. Been like since I bought the car, looks like it was temporarily screwed together somehow.
-
Just spoken with Venom motorsport and they have the Stance+ 15mm hubcentric spacers for £32.99. They also supply the longer bolts. What's the spec of the standard bolts for the Speedlines.
