ive searched, i found nothing relating to the problem i have. any ideas? I have cleaned up my old valve, the car wouldnt start once i put it back on. all the pipes are clear and vagcom says there are no errors. all very strange

Right, i have searched high and low for this problem, Found many many posts but nothing similar to what im getting. i have replaced the ISV for a brand new unit. when i turn the car on from cold it idles very low, if i blip the throttle its drops so low most of the time its stalls. When the engine gets to temprature it idles perfectly. This morning i have a few thing to check like the foam from the baffel stuck in the pipe, check for air leaks and stick my laptop on vagcom. if theres any thing else i may have missed let me know

Hi, I bought me my first corrado VR6 just over a month ago now, It had a few problem but i have sorted most of them now but the idle. When i start the car in the morning from cold it idles at about 700 rpm, when it gets to temprature it idles at just over 1000rpm. Some times when im sat in traffic the idle bounced about a bit, i have taken a video of this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpfPAUuCPC8 If any one out there has any idea what could be wrong any info would be great thanks pete

isnt there something under a bit of plastic on the left in the passenger footwell thats some thing to do with the ABS system???
-
the ABS light came on randomly the other day in my VR, got it VagCom-ed and got the same code (00532 - Supply Voltage B+). Had them cleared and the light stayed on even after a drive. When we attached the vagcom again we still had the 00532 - Supply Voltage B+ error. Aparently this is caused by not enough power getting to the ABS pump or ECU. some thing to do with relays. I was tempted to take the bulb out but id rather it was there so i knew i had to take it easy until i find a cure. If any one knows whats causing this that would be much help! Tempted to buy a new battery any way as i think mine is slowly becoming weak

ok thanks. i will get them reset and see whats happening then. I have an idle problem any way so im trying to find the case of that. some times its hangs about 800 rpm or sometimes at 1000.

i just realised there is a vag-com thread on the fourm. Just looked at the pictures of the port next to the gear shift... i have a 16 pin ODB2 port on a 1994 early type raddo vr6. is this normal or has my car been buggered about with at some point in its life. The reason why im looking at my vagcom is beacuse the other day when i was crusing at 40mph and i lost all power for about 20 seconds. i was stamping on the throttle and nothing was happening. My friend was was in the car at the time noticed the ABS light was on while i had no power. I also, in all the rain we had this week gained a rather large puddle in the passenger footwell and in the rear. Not sure if its from a random hole in the body some wehre or a knackered heater matrix but there was alot of water there. I have also read soem where that the ABS ECU is in the passenger footwell on the side, im starting to wonder if this has been affected by the mass of water. Yesterday the ABS light came on again, i thought it could of been a sensor i cracked while replacing the suspension, that has now been replaced but the light is still on. Please can some one tell me whats going on as im quite worried. thanks

Hi guys. im new to this forum and new to owning a corrado. i bought a rado 2.9 vr6 last week and i have a couple of questions. My reverse lights do not work. ive checked the fuses, bulbs and connections. where would the next place to look be??? when i got the car it had about 20 litres in the tank, so i filled it to the top with just under 50 litres. what is the average milage you guys get from a full tank as i managed 320ish. is that good or bad?? thanks. pete
