I'm running 17's with a 60mm drop at the mo, don't rub at all! IMO if the wheels are rubbing, you'll either need to check the rims are the correct offset etc.. or if catching on the inside I'd fit spacers... -

My H is on a 91.. although the earlier ones were on a late 1990.. Mileage wise, its hard to say, you'd expect it to have done anything from 80k to 200k depends on the amount of owners etc... :?
