UPDATE drove car at lunch with lights on & no problems at all.. Im convinced theres a short... going to check passenger side wing indicator as Ive has the holes smoothed over for the side repeaters & the lamps & wiring are still in the wings.. drivers one was easy to access lastnite, got a feeling the wires damaged on passenger side & then shorting out in wet weather... will update once Ive checked again tonite...

thats just harsh.. no need for it!! some prick dented my door the 1st day I parked it outside the gym few days b4 E38.. never parked there since!! only place I leave the car is outside my house & at work now... facking scumbags!!

since having car resprayed I had the front arch lips removed & dont run inserts, seeing as the corrado is my daily driver the amount of dirt etc on the roads I need to maybe mod some inserts to try & keep the dirt from going right up in the arches.. also theres a small hole were the arch meets the the bodywork right at the top.. Ive noticed dirts coming up through the hole in the door channels which is annoying... Ive painted & protected the arches but maybe need to wayoil the inside of the front wings & fill the top somehow??? any ideas peeps??

does anyone no if these are still aval from vag or gpc?? all the rubbers were removed when I had the car reprayed, but the door windows have never fitted right... seeing as the cars getting on abit would like to replace em... cheers

cheers for the replies.. if the stalk dont fix it then I'll have a closer look at the fusebox.. really need a wiring diagram for the indicators/lights... Lippy, it was doing that at 1st but would flash, now when I have the car running with lights on the drivers indiactor stays on.... Im thinking theres a short between the light switch & stalks maybe??

Hey Bill, sold the old stalks over a year ago... see if you have a spare.. also could you pop over a spare headlight switch, got a feeling it might be causing a problem???

Well the problem seems to have gone to the next stage.. Driving home today in the rain noticed the drivers side indicator stays on perm, thats with the indicator not even triggered on stalk.. if I indicate left the right one stays on, if i indicate left the drivers indicator stays on perm, no flashing.. checked all the bulbs they are fine.. checked the cowling wiring & stalks all seems to be intact.. when using the hazzard lights with the with lights all off everything works fine, as soon as I switch lights to full beam the hazzards stick & dont flash.. & drivers indicator stays on no flash.. all the lamps flash fine on alarm trigger.. whilst cars off everything works fine, if I have the sidelights on the headlights flash too?? Im thinking theres a short somewhere or waters got into some of the wiring?? Ive also just noticed the headlamp adjusters which are fitted to my car make a buzzing noise & adj the lamps without me even using the headlight adj on the dash?? wtf is going on??
