Does anybody know how to remove the speedo cable from the top of the gearbox on an early 16v? Ive been loosening and loosening the big bolt but it doesnt seem to be going anywhere :?

Theres me, quicky, donjon, a red on on oundle road and you who are on here from peterborough. Theres a white g60 around milfield being driven by an asian lad, a black one from whittlesey who i sometimes see in werrington and a green vr6 who lives in milfield and longthorpe being driven by an old couple....quite a few!! A mini meet would be good i think, although i think my car wont be there lol Hows things with the car sam? Any advance with the new wheels?

The petrol station at Silverstone does 102 RON and im sure they do at other race tracks but it is stupidly expensive!!

What was she driving? Although i dont recall seeing cars, just blurred colours! Is yours back on the road. The actual swap was quick, but I did spend almost 8months buying all the kit and getting stuff ready. Wasnt cheap but saved a fortune doing it all myself. Haha blurred colours, should be even more of a blur when youve got it mapped and running proply :D I think she said around hampton way (which would make sense lol) :( Nope mines still not on the road yet...its been nearly 3 months just to replace a clutch, i miss it but sort of lost the love :(

Bloody hell how much!!! My mate had his mk2 golf resprayed, full respray, for £900. It was an excellent job aswell and looked as good as new, couldnt fault it!

I think I should now have all the parts to do the conversion. So my aim is to start in on the easter weekend. Im probly not much use but if you need a hand feel free to give me a shout and ill help if im available :D

I think these were 7's all round with a 50 profile tyre. Only had them on while my car was off the road but i do think they look pretty smart :)

I was thinking when top gear made their electric car, would an alternator work to recharge the batteries while you drive? If so surely its a simple case of putting in an alternator and bobs your uncle :D

Ive now gone and crushed two of my fingers at work and have my hand in plaster, no more driving for a while now :( great!!!!!!!!! Cheers mate, shes all tucked up inside my garage at the moment out the way :) Well you seem to have a Corrado that never goes wrong....i just brought the wrong one i think :( ive spent so much money its a joke!!! Ive had the car nearly 2years and its just been spend spend spend. Ahhh well like you said it will be worth it in the end :)
