Any difference over VR6 top mounts and 16v top mounts or are they all the same? Id assume that VR6 ones are a bit more solid as its a heavier engine but i dont know! -
I cant wait to see you about when the conversion is done, its gona be mental!! Best of luckto you :salute:

Ive had them since August. They aint bad to be honest. Everyone says you get what you pay for but i dont know what other coilovers are like as these are my first set. I dont have any complaints about them yet though :)

Two of my mates entered the Golf GTI series this year and done really well, one even came 3rd overall i think it was in the the 16v class....dont cost much when you get sponsors!!

I had to raise it up a bit again to fit on a recovery truck and ive also got 50 profile tyres on now instead on 45's so it sits higher....high enough for me to fit my 90mm splitter back on!

Top mounts are something i need to replace and ive only been running coilovers for 4 months nearly -
They said its something electrical, either the loom or the ecu. Shame i have very little money else id go for a new engine all together!

Not updated for a while!!! Thought id trial fit my splitter but it was way to low so ive took it off! Couldnt start the car one day, checked over everything and had several mechanics come out to look at it but couldnt fix it so it went off to VW2000 to get fixed, had to raise it up quite a bit so it would clear the bed After a few days at VW2000, they replaced an injector and found that there was no signal going to the cold start valve so they sorted that out. Had it back for a few hours, started it up the next day and it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders, wouldnt idle and was so smokey! Went to start it again the next day and it wouldnt start again.....so back to VW2000!

Had a similar thing happen to my old Punto. Ok its not quite a new scooby but its not the point. People who do this deserve to have their balls chopped off and be forced to eat them! Heres my old Punto :( Due to the idiot who done this i now have stupidly high insurance :mad2:

My mums Peugeot 308VTI. Its huge compared to the Corrado, feels like a proper 4x4, handles like a boat, is really really slow, has 5 doors and a panoramic roof and the steering is far to light! Its a Peugeot...that should explain it all lol
