The whole heater matrix enclosure can be removed via the passenger footwell. Remove glovebox, centre console, blower and some air ducting. There are some hidden screws behind the some air vents which have to be removed also. I would recommend using a new VW valeo matrix as other makes can produce an acrid smell for a long time when on higher heat setting.

Cheers mate, don't tempt me with the turbo, trying to put that at the back of my mind. I'll try g-werkes in the morning, think their about the only place i haven't called. Pics anyone?

Cheers Kev, local engineer, custom fabrication probably 2.5 inch. Is 3 inch too large? I should have already gotten the arb before exhaust. Tried to get an Eibach but 6 weeks delivery.

Hello peeps, need some info. Looking to buy a set of ARBs for her soon but would anyone have a picture showing distance between bar and exhaust on a VR lowered by around 40mm. Exhaust is getting replaced in week or so hence reason i need to know the space available, thanks.

I replaced oil cooler and seals a year ago, still had slight leak from same are which turned out to be crankcase seal (gearbox out). Also had to replace main plastic water pipe as connection broke easily when removing oil cooler pipe. Sorted now though :D

Matrix box can be taken out via passenger footwell without removing dash. Just remove centre console, glovebox and some other bits of trim, this is confirmed as i done it to mine last year, job takes a few hours. Good luck :)

I can but i think we should confirm numbers beforehand. -
I did this last year, there's no need to remove dash, just glove box, central console and a few other bits of trim. Buy matrix from VW.

We were both on the limit and beyond in some places, had good view of the side of your car most of the time. hard track to pass on without contact. I always seem to start from the back, we should introduce a qualifying session :) Now to get the car set up for sedona, wonder if there's a option for a front bull bar  -

Yes guilty of jumping the corkscrew a few times, mostly down to my stock brakes. Hope i've sorted my connection issue now, logged into my hub manager and assigned the xbox live and opened ports by reducing firewall setting just for the race. -
