  1. Hi Dave, I know a non-Forum Corrado owner who needs his drivers side handle fixed. Can you PM me the info so I can pass it on. Thanks, Shaun.

    Plastic clip!

I think it's the same as the one fitted to a MK2 Golf?
  3. Think I might have a good - Bonnet stay complete and uncorroded - somewhere in the depths of the garage. Still has the little rubber ring on it too and I do have a - RHS Instrument Cluster screw cover - in a box somewhere.
  4. The drop top Corrado project that went little wrong... Drop Top C.JPG[/attachment:1ieet61o]
  5. Took this pic back in summer whilst in Portugal. 16V been sat in a police yard in the Algarve for a few years now. Portugal Corrado.JPG[/attachment:1fegl8ns]
  6. Saw it again early this morning. And it's a storm and is still for sale.
  7. Likewise. Handbrake on, in gear and wheels turned into the kerb.
  8. Very early on Sunday morning spotted a green VR6 on an N plate parked out the front of the pub in Bramley, Surrey with a FOR SALE notice in the back window.
  9. At 8am on Wednesday 30th June saw a lovely clean grey G60 on a J plate on the outskirts of Cannock, Staffordshire.
  10. I like the matt black one :)
  11. A lovely colour. And all credit to you for saving it. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 3D1&_rdc=1
  12. Saw 2 in Haywards Heath today... Tidy white one on a H plate with a rumpy pumpy exhaust turning onto the Elite Garages forecourt at 4:20pm. Think you might need to replace your front drivers indicator bulb. Then glimpsed a late green one pulling into the Clair Hall car park at 4:25pm.
  13. And another grey 16V or G60 on a J plate this evening a 5pm. Joined the A24 southbound at Washington and then turned off later onto the A280 just before Worthing.
  14. That's the way I do it too.
  15. Sounds like Hewes car to me? If it was grey of corse. Very last pic on the page. Only the rims but you get the idea http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=90634&start=150 That's the one :)
  16. A clean 16V or G60 on a J plate with very shiny Porsche wheels parked up in Haywards Heath near the station at 4:45pm today.
  17. A big THANK YOU to dragon green for the speaker cover that will now fill the hole in the doocard.
  18. A clean looking silver beauty on an M plate with private plate and aftermarket alloys this evening just after 8pm on the B2133 heading towards Loxwood.
  19. Yes it's parked on the left as you head south? Does look nice.
  20. Had a spare few minutes yesterday so cleaned out the scuttle panel of all the leaf and debri. There was a huge amount behind the fresh air grille. So much that I reckon a family of mice have lived there in the past. A cosy place to sleep over Winter.
  21. Hi. There are a few pics in here... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=66524&hilit=pearl+grey+paint+code
  22. Now that reminds me that a couple of weeks ago I saw a rather rough looking Corrado parked up in Kemp Town. There is usually a rusty red 16V parked up at Kemp Town seafront. That's the one. Sits there looking out to sea.
  23. Born in Paisley on 29/05/90 so soon to celebrate its 20th birthday. So I'll try and get it working before its 21st birthday. Changed hands a few times since then and has been based in Paisley, Edinburgh and then Norwich before coming to Sussex. Last owner ran it before the MOT expired and the exhaust rusted away. On top of that it was found that the front subframe had a big rusty hole in it. He than set about obtaining the parts to fix it, took the engine out, worked hard and cleaned up the bay and then lost interest. And now it's my turn. Car is nice and original and it will stay that way. It's had a respray at some point and I'll guess it's been sprayed in the original colour  It's the first Quartz Metallic I've seen in the flesh. Side strips have been removed but everything else is original. Anyway he's done alot of work already so I'll just continue what he started. I like the colour and the grey interior works well with it. Plus with no sunroof, leccy windows, ABS, cat/Lambda, charger or chains there's less to go wrong and it'll be a doddle to get running again :) Won't it? It's easy enough to strip the cars down but now I feel that I just want to put one back together again. It's a learning curve for me and I'm sure to get things wrong but with the knowledge on this Forum I hope my mistakes will be small. And I have an early 16V as a daily so I can just reference that when I start putting this one back together. You can never have enough! You're right though, I really should just concentrate on the one car. I'll use this one as practice for when I tackle the G60. And poor old Stealth just sits on the drive in a huff, with ABS and wipers with minds of their own. Kids have disowned me and the wife will soon be leaving me to start a new life in the Algarve. passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfP5201211.JPG[/attachment:2vlqbqwc] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfP5201212.JPG[/attachment:2vlqbqwc] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfP5201216.JPG[/attachment:2vlqbqwc] P5201222.JPG[/attachment:2vlqbqwc]

  25. Jigsaw.JPG[/attachment:20kx4361] 1990 on a G plate, Quartz Metallic, poverty spec (no sunroof or electric windows), with grey interior. Been wanting to have a go at saving one for a while but the ones that came up for sale were always too far away, until now. This one was close to home and ripe for saving. I plan to get it running, use it and then sell it on. It won't be a show car, just one to be used daily and enjoyed. Progress will be slow due to lack of free time but I'll get there eventually.
