Hi, Im thinking of installing two aftermarkets fans so that my VR keeps cool in the hot summers. But my questions, does (for exampel) a Spal fan fit the original VR cowling? Or can I find some universal brackets that may fit? Has anyone done this to their VR, using the original cowling? And what about the electrical.. how do I plug them in? Do I use the original loom from the fan box and just let the system take care of when they kick in etc? Can I then override this and make them allways run with a flick of a switch? Would be great on hard track days :notworthy:

Hi! Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Hans Pries parts? They make alot of OEM quality parts as wheel bearing etc, but dont know if they just say so to sell even more? Thinking of buying a wheel bearing set from Hans Pries but should I just pay more for a Febi Bilstein part?

Did a compressiontest on the engine: Cyl 1-6 1. 10 2. 11 3. 11 4. 12 5. 11 6. 12 The manual say "New engine 11-13Bar, Replace/Service 7.5Bar" So it seems like its okey!!! :up: And the Corrado is getting some more body work done later on... Im going for the semi shaved front:

Okey.. sorry for the bump of this thread! In my engine bay there is some wires that is wrapped in this cloth tape... Isnt that the same cloth tape that is used in the dash harness? Thanks for the tip anyway.. Wurth is close to me and they did have that cloth tape in stock! Sweet!

Hi! Im going to retrim my Recaro Orthopäds to get that VW OEM look.. Where can I find some nice OEM VW fabric? Im thinking of doing the seats Leather, and in the middle have grey cloth of some kind... Would love to get ahold of a fabric that looks like OEM with the stripes etc. Any tips? And one more... I dont want to buy fabric for 300pound/m... I cant afford that! :lol:
