Hi as title says the Corrado is in the garage at mo tarting her up a bit ready for family wagon duties next year and my door is mashed. So after late spec door and nearside (passenger side) wing. Preferably in brilliant black matalic (long shot i know) I'm based in Keighley west Yorkshire I have a stack of Corrado parts in my garage mostly interior trims late black ones dash etc.. Hi people just after a bit of advise please i run a 92 2.0 16v and am sick of the rear calipers being so Sh*t! So i was wondering who has done the mk4 golf caliper upgrade is it any good worth the money? I'm a mechanic by trade so i was just wondering if anyone could give my any part numbers etc for the calipers hoses or what you need? would really appreciate the help thanks in advance Booth

Details as follows: Vw corrado 9a 16v 92 jreg Drivers: me, 27, 10 years no claims no bumps or accidents, one sp30 from 06 girlfriend 27, no bumps clean licence I'm getting quotes of £500+ fully comp F*cking ouch! :censored: I was just wondering what everyone else was paying? I changed my left hand window regulater today, as it droped down yesterday driving in the rain!! I'm a techy by trade been in the game 10 years now and i have never come across such an b***ard to change!! Any how its all done now window goes up n down!! Does anyone else think the three rubber dampers that hold the motor to the door are a stupid idea as well???

I have this prob with mine, but it keeps fixing itself! On a serious note it will most likely be the fan swith in the radiator, you can buy these form gsf for about £10 ish or you can go to the stealers and have your pants pulled down! Pitty your a bit too far for me to look at it (i'm a mechanic by trade) Hope this helps Booth.

Hi what corrado are you looking for as ii'm breaking one at the mo, its a 92 j reg 2.0 16v and it has a full newish suspension kit on it dont know what make can check tom if thats any good for you? ta Booth.

Get some snipe nozs molegrips with a rag round them clamp the pipe off, then remove the clip as you pull the pipe off put your finger over the outlet to catch the fluid. Would advise you to use some gloves, the resovoir just pulls up off the mounting bracket. Hope this helps Richard.

Hi i'm a tecy by trade and i hardly ever use locking tools (only on diesels. The best thing you can do in my book is time it up with the timing marks and mark each pulley ONCE, on the pulley and on the backing plate/camshaft cove etc.. If the timing marks on the car don't align up you can always take no1 plug out and watch the piston come to the top dead center. (but thats only if the original marks don't align up.) I have never had to touch the ignition timing when doing them un-less the customer has asked for it. (never done it on mine) In a bnut shell it's not hard the key is making some marks before you undo anything! Hope this helps you any more questions please just ask. Cheers Booth.

Sounds like matrix is blocked, try take both pipes off put hose pipe into top outlet and see what comes out the bottom, if anything?? If it pours out straight away looks like matrix if only a trickle comes out prob blocked try and un block it if not you will be down to putting matrix in it. Where abouts are you based? cheers Rich.

Hey people for christmas our lass is getting me some alloys for my c. Got about £600 to spend, but for the life in me don't know what to get?? My car black sat about 50mm at front n 60 at rear (non adjustable). Tryed my o.z turbo's i have but cant decide what width to go for? Kinda looking for the deep dish look, for example borbet a's? Hi as far as i'm aware they are not inter changeble as they run on a different type of fuelling system. The Kr is on K-Jetronic injection and the 9a will be on ke type (more sensors/electrics basically) hope this helps you cheers Booth.

There done in Black nappa leather, and in the centers its a lylic colour. Looked loud when it got done but looks sweet now and its different! Glad you like it.
