Really tidy mate, needs picks of the interior changes though. I had a valved a few years back and have missed it ever since - not the quickest thing in the world but I challenge you not to smile when its on full chat :D

Just got the door out and found over spray and a scratch! No idea how that happened, was sure I covered it when I painted my bike last year! Its still free to a good home, I think the spray on the door will sand and polish off, and I reckon white spirit will get it off the glass and rubber.

Hey all Deep metallic purple passenger door with glass and electric motor. Glass has a scratch and motor is slow from where the outer window seal split and scored the window for some months. Few scratches from storage. Nothing else included £20 collected from Northampton near the usual edition 38 show site Oli

so i need the switch and whatever i mounts to? i'll have a look at VAGCAT as i don;t have etka to see if i can work out the right bits - it'd be nice now the weather is hot to get the fan working fully!

i don't have that. is it just spade connector onto a switch - kinda like all the other sensors around the bay? because if it is, i don't have that either...

i know this won't be to everyone's tastes but.... i had numerous rust patches, a blue door and a bad colour match at the front end so i've started something drastic... yup, shame to lose the great colour but i just can't afford a full re-spray and she looked so tatty i was starting to lose faith in the whole thing. i know some of you won't like where this is going but all comments are welcome. i'll be on the lookout for some 15*7.5 or 8s or some 16*7.5 or 8s wheels very shortly so if anyone has any then drop me a PM cheers oli

alright people, i've been struggling to find out a couple of bits that are bugging me: can someone with a KR please go and look to see where this wire goes? i can't find anywhere within it's reach which makes me think it's in the wrong place.... the thin blue and black go to the bell-shaped thing (lol) and then the 2 thicker black cables house the headlight stuff i think - so it's the medium thickness black wire i'm after. looks as though it has a green/turquoise plug on the end. i have a sneaky suspicion it's supposed to plug on here: as i have a spare connector. i have no idea what this part is, or even if it's supposed to have all three connections on. someone helpful please be helpful and help the helpless because i am getting royally :censored: off :wink: cheers, oli

right, this issue is now back on my to do list after loads of other crap went wrong! all the temp sensors are replaced and working fine. the wiring from these sensors is also ok - at least in the engine bay at any rate. i can get all the screws off aand move the clocks a bit, the electrical connection on the left side of the clocks comes off no worries too, but there is a lead going into the centre of the clocks - speedo? - and i think one on the right side too which, neither of which i want to just pull out? any advice on what i do about these? once off i can at least check all of the electrical connections to see if any have failed, hoping it's just a wire break, massive pain to find but much cheaper... thanks :salute:

just replaced my staklks as the indicator sticks and the hazard light on the trip side was smashed up. but now i've swapped them over and plugged it all back in i'm not getting a temp reading on oil temp, and the atmosphere temp is showing as -40...i know it's cold but that's not right. i'm almost certain.... any ideas?
