Sorry all for the incorrect word, I can`t type to save my life. I also forgot to say that I`m running some ET55 wheels with 20mm spacers. But you will all be pleased to know that I have just odered some McGard locking wheel bolts from Demon Tweeks :( of all places. I hate these places but needs must and all that. Also door shut

Don`t know if I have put this in the right section, if nut please feel free to move MODS I`m after some locking wheel bolts for my 94 VR6. Can anybody tell me were is the best place to get some and what size they are ?

I work with Carbon Fibre every day, and it all depends on the mounds. Having seen the carbon bonnets on a few Corrado`s, I think that they do look OK, but they use resin infusion mounds. Which is the cheapest way for them to do this. If you were to pay for a proper mound(machined alloy mound) you would have to make a hell of a lot to recop your costs back, then they would have to be UV lacquired to get a nice finish.

I have just brought myself a set of Speedlines for £30 and they are in need of a refurb, so started looking on the net and found these guys. http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk/OLDSITE/index.htm Going to give them a good in a few weeks time.

LOL, I wasn't saying that the R8 was bad, just that the Rat Rods are just so much cooler, especially the bare metal one that lights it's tyres up near the end of the clip. And I can't believe it's the only cabrio you'd love to own - don't they make Aston Martins less than 10 miles from your house? Those V8 Volantes are just dreamy :D Aston's are nice, but don't forget I have built the race car version and seen them close up. Not what they used to be.

I seem to be missing one, :( need to take a trip soon.

John don`t be so grumpy Having seen one in the flesh I can put my and on my heart and say "I want one". What a lovely car, the only open top car I have ever seen that I would love to own.
-
Nice job, fancy doing mine
-
Intresting info there, my sunroof tilts but doesn`t slide so i will give the motor ago and see if that sorts anything out. There was a copy of the CCGB Sprinter mag that had a copy of a WIKI in it about fixing the sun roof, you should see if anybody has on for sale.

Nice, got any pictures of the wheels on the car ? And what are you going to do with your old speedlines ?
-
I spotted two tonight on my way home from work. First as I pulled out of the drive at work just by Silverstone circuit, a lovely RED Radda. Then the second was on the A43 between Brackley and Silerstone, the second one was a BLUE Radda. I waved at both of them but didn`t see a response or see what type they were  . If either of you are on here, your cars looked lovely, but the red one looked the best.

Ta mate. I have indeed, I've gone for Hammerite Smooth. Did a bit of research about it too, as I wasn't sure about the temperature tolerances of the paint. A lot of people have used it and had no problems so that's what I went for. £6-7 from Wilko's or Halfords for a 250ml pot, which is more than enough! :thumb right:[/quote:3b7zew5q] Cheers mate, I`ll give it a go.

Yes the o-ring come in the cap, changed mine then did the mk4 header tank conversion. by the way I see you have got 288 brakes to do, what paint have you used ?

Screwing or Bolting speakers to audioscape pods?
Dude VR6 replied to bristolbaron's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
An anchor nut is a captive nut so you won't have to remove the pod to unbolt the speaker -
Screwing or Bolting speakers to audioscape pods?
Dude VR6 replied to bristolbaron's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
I bolted mine, made some rubber washers to go between the speakers and the pod. Then riveted some floating M4 anchor nuts that I got from work to the inside. You will split the fibre glass using screws. If you tell me how many you want, I will get some M4 anchor nuts for you from work, that way you can unbolt then from the pod without any damage to the pod and you haven't got the risk of the pod splitting. -
What about buying a fire extinguishers with a bracket already with it, a motorsport type ? Demon Tweeks do some nice motorsport ones, or Grand Prix Racewear. http://89.206.185.119/Store/Motorsport/ ... ories/1746
