Just a quick question about these wheel. I'm looking at getting a set after Xmas with my bonus :D what et did you boys get for the VR6 ? I'll be running some 288mm brakes on the front, and what if any other information will they need when I order them from Compomotive. And if I decide to go to 312mm fronts will they still fit ?

Carbon Fibre Stuff - 3d scanning Updated 23/01/11
Dude VR6 replied to badgerman's topic in Suppliers Forum
Looking forward to seeing the results of your hard work, and at what cost you'll be knocking them out at. If they come out looking like an F1 rear wing then I'll be up for one. -
Not a bad race, could have been closer and made it a bit more exciting for the fans. But I stand to get a £3000 bonus at the end of January, but that could have been £4500 If our team had finished ahead of Williams( I work For Force India F1 ).

Leather Trimmed centre tunnel / pillar trims - now in cream!
Dude VR6 replied to badgerman's topic in Suppliers Forum
Nice work there bud  I would be intrested in getting my steering wheel re trimmed at some point, but I would need to sause another wheel whilst mine is being re trimmed. Let me know what you think the cost would be and how long you would need the wheel for. -
You should work in F1, as I do. Having made carbon wishbones for the F1 car i work on, I know how complex all the geomatry can be to get the car to handle as you want it. Have fun and enjoy your Dump

Think this is the same guy on here breaking 5 Radda's. -
This one has been posted before, but as I have said once before "I'm hating it". Bloody fast for trash, as Ben Elton said you should go ask the spotty little tick turds at the counter to flush it straight down the toilet.

I have done a seach on here and Google and can`t find what I`m looking for, and didn`t save it in my favorites. I am thinking of removing my rear wiper from the car as you do, and have seen a nice ali bung, which if memory serve me right was avilable in polished alloy or anadised black. I saw this on someone thread for there removal of the rear wiper mech, and would like to buy one myself before I remove the rear wiper. Any help with this or if any one can point me in the right direction would be most helpful. Oh and I don`t know if i have put this in the correct place or not, so it maybe needed to be move and am sorry Found a picture if that helps jog your old gray matter

Locking wheel nuts - which type, from where?
Dude VR6 replied to MonkeyVR6's topic in General Car Chat
I brought mine from demon tweeks, they are McGard ones, these are supposed to be the best on the Market. Hope this helps -
That's not good mate, just as well as you had locking wheel nuts.
-
I fitted a new coil pack, HT leads, and engine plastics. Then fitted a new genuine VW cigarette lighter and plastic surround. Getting through the list of jobs I've set myself to do slowly. :D

Very nice, just have to hope I get a good bonus this Christmas so I can get my own set :D

All you need to do is buy the rest of an M3 and the steering wheel will screw straight on with little or no modification.

Your nut covers will fit, but depends on how you want it to look, just buy new when you get your arms.
