I keep thinking it is the whoosh that puts a grin on my face, but when I throw it about on an off power round the twistys, the way it sticks I just know is thanks to that fantastic chassis VW put together with bits of MKII and passat - well done VW! :D :D

How does the oil pressure sender work? Is is electric?>
-
Nah - deffo contact vibration. Replaced the front mount now and still having the same vibration. Better, but still there. The frony mount was in bits. Think one of the rear ones must be on its way out or something. I have got pics a the car/motor, nothing too pretty though. Makes all the right noises though  8) SPent some hours polishing this weekend, looking rather pretty in the sun the last couple days. :D

Had a few comments made by the boys on VWVortex... looks like I broken an engine mount. Thinking about it I did seem to see the engine bobbing about a bit more than usual the other day (Just before the bad vibration started) - the roads were dry, what can I say... was enjoying the grip 8)

The wiring is a bit of a nightmare. The guy did it himself in his own garage and it was done in 2000 when virtually no one had done the mod. He really just sorta put it together, got the G60 management working with it. It used to be a clean install till the IHI came along and Jabba had not designed a cast manifold yet - he got one custom made and so it sits high in the engine bay. A cast one would make it sit out of the way like a std car, but limits the peak power. The one he had made is good for 600HP - not that this car will ever see that sort of power. I am hoping now to find a RHD emptyish shell - then start work on fitting a TT dash, TT management etc etc - then transfering all the important bits across for a professional install. LONG term... brother may have a body shop soon if all goes well with his business plans. 8) 8)

Toby... tell me more?? I have a lot of torque I am fighting here and looks like I just broke a mount.

Yeah I was thinking that, but thought it was a face lift thing, did not realise that all the rados had the door handles in the same place... do they?? Door handles do look tt(ish)

Hello all, Well always had a little vibration from my car as it comes on boost. The other day is suddenly got FAR worse. Now my question is would a weak engine mount cause this - or is it just not possible that this would happen (Unless ofcourse it was toughing the bonet) and is probably just the exhaust. I always thought it was the LSD when it had a little vibration... then I thought maybe exhaust after giving it some thought - but now having driven it again tonight... it really does feel like metal on metal with the engine rather than the exhaust. Anyone had a weak mount cause this? Cheers, Leon

I want the chrome hand brake jobby and the TT style gear shift surround... TT pedals I believe? VDO centre console gauges - backlit in blue to match dash... The dials... well, I just get moist! Anyone else joining me on the moist bench?
-
These here have to be the pretties dial ever!! But again... only goes upto 140MPH... given that I can do well over that and can get to 8K RPM... I would prefer a kit that did the higher MPH!! - still gorgeous!

Have a look at http://www.dubdesignindustries.com - they offer these far cheaper and do them back lit in blue/white. Far nicer. My question is how the hell do I fit em to my 1.8T corrado? :(
-
C'mon boys... got me "moist" now... looks fantastic... I got more important things to buy, but still  Final part number etc. One question though... my C is LHD... what does that mean for me? :|

I have always been a fan of cream leather... either a mix or all cream. Just looks superriour... Ford Focus's come with Black leather... quality cars come with cream 8)

I seem to have a pretty small radiator... are there larger rad's out there? I assume mine is the std G60 one. Thanks, Leon

Hello all, Looking to sort out my engine mounts, and not quite sure what to go for. I have a competition front mount which I intend on fitting. No idea what it is etc as it came with the car. My question is, what do I use behind the engine and on the gearbox? I have heard meantion of Rallye mounts etc etc? Is there a brand as such I should just look for and if so who should I contact? Thanks, Leon

Sh!t mate... what happened?? I am running 340... your scaring me!! What setup were you running and what management. Looks a very tidy install, who did that for you? What management were you running?

Hello all, I have an F-Reg C with std grey interiour... but I did notice heated seats switches for drivers and passengers side (rolling dials that go from 1-5). I turn them on, but dont seem to feel anything? I didnt think it would have heated seats given the age/std interiour, but maybe it does have. Are there fuses or anything like that I can check, or how can I check if they are on/working? Thanks. Leon

Mmmm, seem to be hearing good things about the Supersport springs here. Can you not get the spring strength adjusted exturbo?? Sorry to hear about your experience, but thanks for your input.

lol @ dubster!! The MKIV injection system can be run without the clocks... but takes someone who knows what they are doing. I think initially however the clocks are needed to un-lock the ECU. I believe Jabba can do an S3 system.

Clock/key contain the imobiliser circuit. There are a few people out there who can crack it. I would install the MKIV clocks... phat! 8)
