Black J-plate standard looking G60 in Avenham car park in Preston this afternoon. Looks like the offside window reg had gone as the window was being held up by various bits of gaffer tape :) Been there before!

That would be me then ! We had just been to the Eagle and child for lunch. Spotted your Corrado from the front of the pub so I made the Mrs drive down Green lane so I could get a good look. Liked the wheels in the same colour as the car. Fingers crossed I'll be in mine next time. Nice one! My "two lads" comment is not a reflection on your Mrs - it all just happened so fast! Thanks for the shout anyway - luckily you saw the car's good side :) I live in Preston but generally get to the old man's once a week. Love the drive to Mawdesley/Bispham, no matter which way I go there are some great roads.

Funny one today. Car was parked up on my Dad's drive in Bispham, I was in the field planting some spuds 8) Suddenly I heard "NICE CORRADO!" shouted from a passing ibiza, one lad hanging out the window with a big grin and his thumbs in the air. Took me by surprise and all I could think to do was wave the spade in the air in thanks! The old man couldn't believe someone had actually shouted a compliment from a passing car. Think he may now understand why I haven't "got something a bit newer".

Could have been me on the A6 (grey G60) didn't spot your C though as I was too busy checking out the TVR. Also saw a red M reg in Penwortham yesterday afternoon. Looked like a 16v with black 17s. Exchanged waves

Ah the pimp mobile, good times! I recall several trips to the chiropractors after you accidentally strayed onto a cobbled road one time.

Spotted a dark blue 16v/g60 in Euxton near the Bay Horse last night. Looked like it was scraping along the floor. Good work!

Nice one dude. You'll have to head over at some point for me to have a butchers. Have a feeling it's going to make mine look really untidy 8)

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE

Mine turned up soon after ordering, fitted it at the weekend. Cheers Dave. I couldn't get this method to work either, spent a good half hour with drills, hammers etc. In the end I tried one of the other methods on the instructions - lightly tapped a thin screwdriver into the end of the pin and with a bit of twisting it came out straight away. -

As of 10 minutes ago, drivers side repair kit required please! Cheers, Rob -
Dark blue 16v H***GLC turning round at the end of the drive as I was washing mine in Chorley. Realised after I'd given the thumbs up that I was still wearing one washing up glove, Jacko style.

Excellent, job done. Cheers.

Just replaced the heater matrix and figured I'd swap the blower motor for a new one - old one making the usual squeaks/grumbling sounds. Came to swap it over when I had the heater boxes/tubing out and found that the new blower didn't have a connection to fit the 5 pin connector (see pic in thread below) just two wires with spade connectors. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=42731&p=497731&hilit=blower+motor+connector#p497731 Have I been sold the wrong one or is there some way of wiring up the new motor to the existing connector? If so, what are the three other wires doing :confused4:

..as Gordon would say. 8 hours later and I now have hot air :D No way I would have been able to do the job without reference to the wiki on here, so a massive thanks to whoever put that together. Personal highlight was the face full of coolant when the first hose came off the old matrix, wasn't expecting that. I found a combination of the following links helpful, hope they're of use:- http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.p ... n+footwell http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8848 viewtopic.php?f=1&t=72397&p=843893#p843893 viewtopic.php?f=19&t=39815&hilit=heater+matrix http://the-corrado.wik.is/Categories/In ... eplacement If a total amateur like me can do it, anyone can. Better go before I get all emotional..,.

If you're still after the drivers seat and door cards, I know of a red 16v being broken at the moment - fairly local to you as well in Preston. I had a quick look a couple of weeks ago as I was going to swap my grey interior for the black one it has - same as yours but in very good condition. Let me know if you're interested and I can find out if he's willing to split it. Hope you don't mind the thread hijack but... Renson - if your grey seat cover is still going spare I'd be happy to take it off your hands. The cloth has gone on my drivers bolster - presuming yours would fit the drivers seat?

2 today; very clean black VR6 M***FUB parked up near Whernside up at Ribblehead - owners obviously walking further than us as it was still there when we got back. Then a red C - possibly a G60 but couldn't tell as it was flying - almost getting air coming the other way over a crest near Gisburn. I was in the Grey G60 pointing and mouthing SH*T!

That was me, if the mk4 you were driving is silver. My first wave off someone, surprised it was from a mk4 golf! Mine's a grey G60, no badge on the front at the mo. The dark blue VR a bit further down has been parked on the road there for years, always looking like it needs a wash! It's a nice looking car though and when I drive past about once a week I always check just to see if there's a for sale sign in the window... Yes mate that was us Emma's Golf is silver!! You local to Leyland?? I havent got my Corrado now but if a very low grey MK3 Golf GTI waves at you then that is me[/quote:2amocv74] I'm in Preston but my sister lives in Leyland, as do a few mates as we all went to school there. Strangely enough I also used to own a slammed grey mk3 gti! Will look out for yours.
