  1. right, ive just swapped over injectors 1 and 2 and now the 2nd cylinders not firing = duff injector :gag: what would you guys suggest about sorting it. is it worth getting it cleaned or am i better off buying a new one? for a quick fix, does the g60 have the same injectors as any other car? i might pop down the scrappy to try and find one
  2. have just measured the resistance, its 4.8, which suggests the loom is ok. injector issue then? ill swap two of them over and see what happens
  3. havent got to the injectors yet, i ran out of light yesterday. there a bit more buried than on the valvers! cheers riley, ill check that out today
  4. hi guys today my g60's no1 cylinder decided to stop working. i have been through the ignition system, leads, plugs, cap and rotor. this made no difference. when running you can disconnect the no1 ht lead and it makes no difference to the running. I think theres fuel going to it as with plugs in 2,3,4 and not in 1 i can smell fuel. Also did a compression check and all is fine. am i missing something? im not that familiar with the g60 yet! my thoughts are it must be fuel related as ive changed all the ignition bits. ive left the coil as i would have thought if thats broken it would affect all 4 cylinders
  5. bump, anyone done this job before?
  6. the senders showing a resistance of 14k ohms (i think i got the scale right! 14 somethings lol) i think your right about the outlet being a replacement, it does look new can the gauges be swapped in the clusters then?
  7. no i dont have air con. ill go test the resistance in a minute. but shouldnt the gauge shoot up if the two wires are joined? thats whats making me think its the gauge thats broken. the warning light for if it overheats is coming on when they are joined so the wires seem ok
  8. no, the sender directly under the blue one. theres 3 on the water outlet on mine. blue and grey on top and black underneath, the grey one is unplugged
  9. the water temp gauge is not working on my 92 g60. ive unplugged the sender and shorted the wires but all it does it turn on the warning light on the dash, no movement from the gauge. do the gauges in the cluster tend to break on the corrados? if it is the actual gauge can it be removed from another set of clocks and swapped over? also, whats the 3rd water temp sender for (on top in fromnt of the blue one) is that an air con thing? cheers mark
