  1. Kempy - no ones turned up for these wheels yet mate...
  2. Whimps! Was down there, was fine! Just a bit windy. Anyway, give me a shout if you guys ever do want to hook up, im available most nights. Secondly, Sam - my g/f realy wants to see your 'rado! She's seen you driving around and thinks it looks awsome!
  3. This may sound like a realy wierd one but... Since fitting my new heater matrix the other day, ive been using the blowers a lot more. Only problem is the air realy doesnt smell that nice... I mean is not a dead rat in my air ducts or anything, it could just be a bit more pleasant. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? Ive searched and found out about the Jetex pollen filters, and that sounds like a winner, but just wondered if anything exists that could make my car smell a little nicer when the blowers are on? :camp:  8) Edit: Thanks for changing the post :D ( Spelling was never one of my strong points ;) )
  4. Dash Out for heater matrix... 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfPhoto0301.jpg[/attachment:1ldv770b] What a mess! Photo0302.jpg[/attachment:1ldv770b] New Rims - Azev A's. Think im going to space the rears out a little though... dont quite have the same stance as the Rotas :( climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfPhoto0305.jpg[/attachment:1ldv770b]
  5. Is possible but a bit of a Fook-er! :camp:  Well, technically I did it with my dash "in" because the cobra alarm etc wiring has been wired around some of the dash framework, so I couldnt pull it out completely without re-wiring - and there was no way I wanted to touch any of that! Looks like a spiders web with a few birds nest's stuck in it! (So thats a fun job for winter!). Seriously though, for the amount you have to remove to even get close to being able to do with with the dash in, you may aswell just take those last 6 bolts out and pull the dash forward at least! However, my C now smells of warm :luvlove:
  6. Havent updated this in aaaaaages! Done quite a bit since those photos, currently now has Azev A's on its feet and I personally prefer it! Rota's have been sold to someone on here (should be collected end of the month). Yesterday I had the entire dash out (well as far as it could) and changed the elusive heater matrix... omg! Definately not a job I want on a regular basis! Pics to follow tonight!
  7. Ive allready made plans to be there this coming sunday. Not once have I spoke to anyone there but ive decided that me and a few mates are going to turn up and see what happens! So an ideal idea! What time does it all kick off? Do they still meet at the pub at the showground and convoy down? Just that if Chris needs to go by 2.30, they dont meet at the botolph until 2ish aparently. Makes no odds to me, im closer to botolph than the showground
  8. Heater Matrix. OMG. What a Job. Dash in? LMFAO Yeah, sure!
  9. Unless its a bit like yours and scared of tarmac ;)
  10. That HDR pic is like porn.
  11. Might be an obvious one but what condition is your calliper in? If your piston is corroded it can leave the brake pads touching the disc and overtime cause the disc to heat up and warp?
  12. Was at blockbusters the other day, talking to someone I didnt know but my g/f did. Him: "So who's is that red veedub thats outside yours all the time" Me: "Thats mine, my Corrado" *smiled a bit* Him: "Ahhh, its lovely! I stare at it every day on my way to work, realy nice!" Me: "Yeah, I quite like it too!" and then it goes downhill... Him: "Yeah, I realy like muscle cars, im realy into them. It just reminds me of a real muscle car!" Me: "Eh?" Him: "I realy like muscle cars, and it reminds me of a proper muscle car... looks great!" ... Me: "... Thanks". Knowing when to stop is an art, sometimes silence is golden! Bloody muscle car indeed!!! ITS MY SPORTS COUPE!!! (With extra definition on the "PE" part!!!!!) :epicfail:
  13. Can anyone do me a quick favour and just measure that cubby hole for me? My C is a 1.8 16v 1990 but I dont think that cubby hole changed between models? Basically im looking to fit a radio setup into it but need to know the width at the top of the hole, the width at the bottom of the hole, and the depth aswell? I dont have my car with me and could do with knowing by the end of the day... Cheers in advance!!!
  14. 1.8 16v engine, want to fit a cone filter to replace the airbox (see what its like). Theres loads of hoses on the top of the air box which im unsure of their purpose / what to do with them when removing the airbox... Any tips? :)
