I have had 2 different versions. The G60 ones have a screw on centre cap and are a 4 stud whereas the Golf VR6 have a push on centre cap and are a 5 stud. As you have them on a VR6 then i would guess they came from a golf.

My mate is selling his RX-8. He leaves for Singapore on Thursday so needs a quick sale so it's pretty cheap. Its a great car and if i had the money i would buy it! http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/mazda-rx8-45k-54reg-mot-tax-immaculate-condition-need-very-quick-sale-as-moving-abroad/83867491 Cheers Adam

OK, so I had a dodgy relay (no 109) that kept making a weird noise and affected the start-up of the car. So decided to get a replacement, took the old one to the garage to make sure I got the correct replacement. Stupidly I then didn't put the new one on straight away and when I came around to do it last night the alarm is completely dead. No response from the remote, no central locking from the key & no immobiliser. Also at the same time as the relay was out so was the battery as I was charging it up indoors. So, is it just a case of somehow retuning the alarm in to the car again or is it just that a 15 year old alarm that hasn't had any juice for a bit has packed in? Its a laserline alarm if that helps? Any light would be appreciated. Cheers Adam

OK, so in an attempt to clear my ABS light i went out a bought a multimeter after reading that this was the best way to go to find the faulty one. But when i tested them, 1 (the passenger rear) had a reading of 1.09 but the other 3 don't seem to give me anything. It's as if it's not even recognising that they are there? Any ideas what i'm doing wrong? Cheers for any help Adam

Just got my renewal through from direct line, i'm 26 with 6y NCD. last year i got £550 fully comp on my VR, opened my renewal letter......£1200! absolutely nothing has changed apart from getting older and more NCD! I rang them today and they said that because of the bad winter there were a lot more claims than usual so they basically didn't rake in as much as they normally do so they have changed all their ratings. they are screwing over anyone under 30 and anyone with high insurance group cars to make their money back and i luckily fall into both of those groups! i've tried the comparison websites and they are all the same. I'm forced to put it in the garage and get a 1.0l to run around in until they come down again! Not happy!

No but I use it a lot at weekends. Still manage about 10k a year. Sadly not great. How much are we talking at a garage?
-
It's done just over 140k.

i changed all 6 spark plugs back in september and the car was running fine. then last week it started being really jerky so i looked at the plugs and they were all fine apart from the one in the 6th cylinder which was covered in think dirty oily gunk. i changed it and now it runs fine again. when i changed them back in september this was the worst one then as well. any ideas why this is? Cheers

Hi Can anyone help me figure out why my rear fog lights keep blowing the fuse? My front ones work fine on their own but when you switch the back ones on they blow the fuse straight away. I've got my MOT soon and want to get it sorted before then. Any suggestions? Cheers
