:clap: yay I finally spotted some one on here. It's good to see another rado in the area hardly any about. I will keep any eye out for him, tell him to join the local vdub club dubpound just type it into Google and be will find it. Thanks getting some better rims on soon so should look better. Just passed a nugget rado possible a G60. Was a LHD and had the number plate on the sun visor. Passed you by the speach house in the forest of dean. Exchanged flashes

A black rado on the m42 between j5+6 at about 11.55 today. Looked like it had a debadged grill and possible a eye brow spoiler. I was going the other way don't think you saw me.

Mine has KR cams but the set up is mainly done on the road so should take them into account ( well thats how mine was done so im guessing thats how they will be doing the others)

I have noticed a big increase in my mpg as well. I'm constantly getting 35mpg in the morning on the way to work. I also got 37 this morning and I'm shore it would have gone up more but I got to work. 8)

Not going to see this car now. Got a txt at 6.20 this morning telling me its been sold. Just as well I start work at 6. I think he realised I know more about corrados than him after telling him I own one. No loss there

I'm going to view this car tomorrow and the guy told me that it has a split water pipe and that if I fix it I can have it cheaper. Now what can I offer him if it turns out to be a good car. link to ad

I second all of the above, makes the car so much more drivable and I think when it was tested the car was 1 second quick from 40-60 in 4th gear :clap:

Yep my car was the guinie pig :lol: If all goes well hopefully DG will be using it as another service they do. Unfortunatly it is only for the 9a as the KR uses a different fueling system

Haha ironically it started to rain whilst I was doing it :lol: What Dave done was took a copy of the ECU chip and found the timing and fueling graphs. Using a plug that simulated the ECU chip we drove along adjusting the timings and fueling through out the rev range untill we found the best result with out pinking and over fueling. Then it was encoded onto a new chip and plugged the ECU back in. Going to run with it for a week or so then report back to Dave on how its going.

Once again the guys and DG have worked their magic :notworthy: Spent most of the day there on monday with the car plugged into Dave's laptop, tearing up and down the rounds by DG. 8) And the car drives so much better. Dave and Graham done some timed runs and it is a second quicker from 40-60 in 4th gear and 60-80 in 5th gear. Top end has been improved, as after 6K rpm it dieds off but a bit more fuel added to come in at that point and it feels like it wants to rev right though to the limiter. Over all the car has a lot more urgancy about it and is more drivable, even on half throttle its feels quicker. Cant wait to get it onto some rollers now to see what she has :D I have also removed the rear windscreen wiper which really makes a difference on the looks.

I second that, very interesting to watch Even if it does look like they took some clips from the TG episode of when they done the high speed run.

Spotted a blue rado heading south baound on the M5 between junction 22 and 23 at a bout 13.25 today. Didnt see what flavour as we was both in the outside lanes going in the opposit dirictions. Gave a thumbs up but dont think you saw me.

Just got another chuftie :D Was doing some tinkering with the car out the front of the house and some teenagers went past on there brikes I heard them say that's a lush car. Well it was either aimed at my car or the ford ka parked next to me :shrug:

Well after a long hard day at DG the car handles like a dream :clap: Its suprising how much of a difference R32 bushes and new ball joints make. Mine were preaty much F.U.B.A.R to being with :shock: A big thanks to Graham for being so patient with the car and for setting it up really well, also sorting my idle problem out and making the clutch better. :notworthy: I had fun on the way home thats for shore, only took me 45mins to get from DG Autotech to Cinderford, which usaly takes me just over an hour :ignore: :nono: :norty: :grin: Going back up on Monday for a bit of DG Autotech R+D. Dave will be getting his crazy lab coat on to see if he can come up with a map for the 16v engine 8) I must admit I lost the love for the rado over the past month or so but after getting it set up properly and that chuftie I feel it coming back :D
