Off to DG next week for new brakes. Getting new calipers ( wel lworking, unlike mine) discs, bearings and pads 8) was planning on getting the fronts done but the rears need doing asap -

Well either pay pal or bank transfer depends on what people prefer. I will pm every one letting them know how much and all the detail on where and how to send it. So the quicker you pay me after I PM'd you the quicker yours will be in the post 8) :lol:

Well in the last few months its not be great maybe 32 at best Is there supposed to be springs on the calipers asI cant remember seeing any on mine :? Springs are internal, but the Audi's have them to make double sure in case the internal one goes AFAIK. Ahhh right. Spoken to Graham today and he has a set of caliper on the way ready for next week :clap: Just going to limp around the next few days and do as little miles as possible :(

Found a set of caliper for the car now :D Thanks to Drew's G60 as it is at DG right now ( think it is or will be ) and having new brakes on the back, so I'm going to buy the old ones :clap:

Ya I'm going to be doing minimum miles between now and my trip to DG :( I copper greased the back of the pads, the sliders and calipers looked fine. I've just got some Febi pads on the back which are only about 1000 miles old or so. The strange thing is it isnt all ways hot. When I came to yours it was at its worst. some times it will be fine and work perfictly :brickwall: Will have a read through that link in a second

Hahaha sorry it had to be said :D Hope you can get it sorted pronto and not to much money. My brakes still ent working right :( so trip to DG next week :D

your rears must been the same as a vr6 ?? as fair as I'm aware they are

saloon or estate. Can you remember any of the reg, would probably play with something like that if in the VRT :norty: It was a saloon version Cant remember the reg sorry. But had light hidden in the bottom part of the rear bumper which stand out slightly. if that helps In all fairness the 2 CV looked like it would fall apart if you breathed on it :lol:

Well I've just be on the phone to Graham and he says it sounds like the caliper is starting to seize :( he is going to find out about how much new calipers wil be then get back to me tomoro. Along with disc's, bearings and pads. Will just have to take things slowly in the car for now :(
