    some sort of stain devil for oil should work of, just dont get it too wet as the glue could peel away

    iirc theres two contact on the back of the glass that can corrode, you can prise the glass off carefully to see glass is VW and about £40 i think

    glad you got it sorted, stick with the lights for a bit if you dont like em im sure you`ll be able to shift them on for enough to get another set

    Corrados after 1992 have bar type hangars, golf 2's have hooks, so no, unless you weld different brackets to the exhaust. so do you think the golf II will fit early hook type 1.8 16v rado`s?

    this could just be a gues but on mk2 golfs you had to drill a hole to release a spring lock, it involved taking all the surround and steering wheel etc off (haynes manual says where), just a thought as its an early rado it could have used a mk2 part on the switch housing? then again i could be totally wrong!!

    theres a how to in the knowledge base IIRC you can access the screw from the bottom, seat out, head on brake pedal with a slightly bent watchmakers screwdriver HTH ben
