Hey mate yeah it's slowly coming together, the engine went back in towards the end of last yr, now just trying to remember where all the bits go plus it's getting flipping expensive buyin every nut bolt washer seal and clip from vw! Doesn't help when I spend a wedge on a set of super rare genuine oil pressure and voltage gauges 4 the interior!! How's yours doing, are you going 2 any shows this yr?

I've just sent my mate the pix of the exhaust and it looks like the 1.8 and 2.0L have different mounting points as he bought a cheap stainless 2.0L exhaust off eBay and we just couldn't get the hangers to work hence why we were looking for a genuine 1but looks like its gonna have to be off a 1.8 so really sorry if you've had a load of hassle to get the pix!

Thanks man appreciate u taking the time to check it out, its only really the large middle silencer I'm after although it's not actually for me so will ask my mate if he's interested in the full system if it's all for sale? Let me no a price for the full system and one just for the mid section, and also the vr rear beam for me. Cheers

Bugger I've just bought that set off eBay because I'd always thought them rare as rocking horse ****. Wish I'd seen this thread earlier but I suppose I've always wanted a set and these are genuine VW still boxed and wrapped so not all bad + the arz's don't include shipping so not 2much outta pocket

Hi just found this post and was wondering if these parts from Arz are genuine as I thought the originals had been obsolete for quite a while? I've just bought a (supposedley) genuine set off ebay for more than arz are selling them for so I'm hoping I've not been stung!

Am after either a middle box or full system, (or whatever you've got as long as it includes the middle box) for a 91 1.8 16v. Must be genuine and in reasonable condition Cheers

Thanks to the great british weather I now need a pair of hinges for my vr as the wind took the bonnet today ripping 1 hinge clean off and bending the other In an ideal world they'd be in mystic blue pearl (LC5L) but any colour will do as the bonnets gonna have to be straightened and painted

That's what I was looking for but couldn't find it either. Don't really think I want to be messing with the wiring, was going to buy a brand new corrado 1 anyway so it sounds like that's prob the easiest option

Am looking to replace the coolant reservoir on my vr, was sure I'd seen somewhere about fitting one from a mk4 but cant seem to find anything on it now. Anyone know anything about it benefits, drawbacks which model to use? Any help greatly apreciated cheers!

The other day I noticed the temp gauge on my 1.9 sdi caddy was sky high and the low coolant light came on. I replaced the water and everythings been fine since until 2day when the gauge has stopped working completely. Thought it might be a sensor. Anyone any ideas which 1 or anything else it might be?
