My wife see's it as a good excuse to watch all the stuff I normally groan about so it can't be all that bad. -

That's nothing the ABS light keeps coming on and off in my one hows that for realistic :) Don't think they are importable but if like me you spend half a day just driving around in VW's eventually you get a 100% discount (ie: free) from VW so you can muck about with your tuing as much as possible. -
I had the same happen to me in my Audi a few years back. Buckled rim, punctured tyre and a smack to the exhaust that snapped one of the hangers and left a huge dent. Informed the highways agency and then the council quoting the highways agency ref and detailed pictures etc. Council actually coughed up nigh on £600 for all the parts which reallyy surprised me, although they did still say it was a good will payment !!

Clutch Master Cylinder? where can I get one?
beastie4126 replied to Jim Hughes's topic in Engine Bay
A quick look on VAGCAT shows parts - 358721401 master cylinder / F >> 50-N-035 000* rhd & 358721388 master cylinder / F 50-P-000 001>> I'm assuming that the end references are for chassis numbers. They don't specify models ie VR against 4 pots which would make it appear they are interchangeable although they do show a change in pedal part numbers as well although the fittings look the same on my VR against what I remember being on the 16v Do you need a complete replacement or can you not get a seal kit for the one you have? -
Stick a BMC on there along with the six branch and exhaust you will have no need for a stereo any more :)

S & M mouse wedged in radiator ?? Have you checked for stones etc wedged in tyres, drive shaft gaiters splits or even brake hoses rubbing on tyres

The lower left (passenger) corner is spoken for but the rest is in reasonable nick, take a pic of what you need and I'll take a look when we strip her down. -

Still awaiting Baz to come back to me but again if he doesn't want all of them no probs. -
Do you not have to bleed the brakes in a particular order as I have on my A3 before. Bentley manual suggests pumping pedal 20 times and then seems to steer you towards right front, left front and then either rear?

Are the 16v KR golf manilfolds that much different? http://www.tsr-performance.com/webshop/parts-by-category/exhaust-manifolds/4-1-exhaust-manifolds-naturally-aspirated/tsr-mk2-golf-16v-4-branch-stainless-manifold-all-16v-models-not-syncro-85-91-tsrgolf2mani16v-4-branch-manifold-16v-kr-engine/

I have put about a 800 miles on them now and they feel so much smoother when turning in around roundabouts and so on. The camber adjustment is really easy and so much easier to do than trying to get at the carrier bolts with the wheels on etc. I tried to get the carrier camber as close to 0 and then dial in the desired camber on the top mounts which worked out quite well. No adjustment for castor I'm afriad but I'm sure if you had a chat with the super helpful chaps at Ground Control they might be able to sort you out with something.

Here you go: http://www.candrenterprises.co.uk/shop/superpro-uprated-suspension-bushes-vw-1989-1995-34.html - these are for VR's but they do the 16v variants as well.
