Rofl - when I was coming up to 40 I decided it would be a good time to buy a Corrado not the other way around :) Obviously now I'm 41 I suppose I had better start looking at Volvo's or a classic Trabant :)

Spotted a black VR (i think) yesterday parked up in Apsley Tesco car park. I Would have had a better look but it started tipping down and I didn't want to get my hair wet :)

Switched over my Eibach 22mm Front ARB to a Neuspeed 25mm at the weekend, mostly to get around the wishbone knocking the Eibach was doing. Reasonably easy to do once jacked up and with the help of my mechanics m8 (wife). Easy to see from the pictures why the Eibach bar was clouting the arms when compaired to the Neuspeed even though the new one is 3mm thicker. Not had much road time with the new one fitted but very glad to be rid of the anoying thunk noise I had.

Sorry Wullie I should tidy this three uP as they have been sold. -
I'm thinking that it is the right model etc as the part numbers tie up against the Corrado and G3 except for the prefix's. They just had a bad day in the bending department when they made this one :( Going to order a replacement one which will probably be a 25mm neuspeed as everyone else sells them in pairs and I have the rear EIBACH already.

I cant remember how much it worked out to once import duty etc was added on but it was in the £260-280 region, not cheap but very well made. Info here http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php/II=727/CA=88

I too have dumped the oil/water cooler in favor of a mocal and I usualy see 94-98 unless driven very hard.

If you have a habit of mucking around with your steering, ride height etc it makes reseting the camber a lot easer than via the standard method of the suspension bolts.

Assuming that your collecting it £15 ---------- Post added at 07:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:32 PM ---------- Hi, stuck a pic above and part number is 191959875. Let me know if you want it and I'll PM paypal details. -
Well after a top end rebuild following the popped head gasket the old girl is back on the road again sporting a new set of Samco hoses, ceramic coated Supersprint 6 branch, D&G fan brackets & fans and a set of adjustable top mounts from Ground Control in the states. Just the front ARB, steering rack and paintwork to sort out :)

No go on the spacing as theres not enough room to manouvre at all. Iv'e compaired the part numbers on the Eibach site and the Corrado one begins with AS not EW so maybe I have one for another model ??

Replaced the NS split steering gaiter, reset the tracking and checked out the rollbar thats clouting the arms. -
Cheers, I do remember it being a touch on the tight side but it looks like they are even to me, although I have not exactly measured the gaps. I suppose one way to find out is to disconnect the drop links both ends and move the arb up and down to see if contact is made and which side then adjust accordingly.

This is more of a call to those that have fitted the above Arb to their Vr6. I Fitted both front and rear EIBACH arbs last year but didn't get to put much mileage on them due to the head gasket blowing and the work that followed. Now that the car is back on the road I am finding that under heavy breaking and heavy acceleration I sometimes hear a clunk. I would put this down to bushes etc but I know that they have been changed and would probably have been pulled for the mot two weeks ago. What I can see is that the front Arb is very close to the front arms in comparison to the original and perhaps is fouling, especially as there is a slight paint wear as well. Has anyone had similar issues with this brand of Arb or did I buy a Friday afternoon special that is not bent 100% correctly??

The door is complete including glass, locks etc has a few door edge chips but nothing major. Like most of the panels it will need a respray to look nice. Can send pics if required. -

Hi m8, wings still on the car although it isn't pretty. Without checking it for lower rust it would need a respray at the least. -
