SOLD @ £1800 – 1993 Dragon Green VR6 with cream leather interior. This car has been with me for almost four years now and I have strived to keep it as unmolested as possible. It isn’t a concourse car, hence the price, but it has been looked after and is a good solid car that I've really enjoyed owning. This is the best colour/interior option in my opinion too. I’ll be sad to see her go but I’ve decided to take the plunge and buy myself a Jag XJ8, so I just can’t afford to keep two big engined toys sitting on the drive. I'm asking £1800 which I think is a very fair price considering it's recent work, length of MOT/Tax and condition; I'm sure you'll agree when you see it too... The details are as follows: -L Reg (1993) -150k miles -Huge folder of paperwork including a detailed breakdown of work carried out and corresponding dates (in the form of an Excel spreadsheet) -MOT until 4th November 2014 -Tax until 31st November 2014 -Last serviced less than 1000 miles ago and all tyres are good. -Spoiler, sunroof, mirrors and heated seats all work perfectly. -Engine has been well maintained and service book is full. -Magnex Exhaust system -Full cream leather -Debadged front grille (Original front badge can be supplied with the car if you want it) -Minor issues include a rust spot on the rear windscreen edge and the usual tear to the driver’s seat outer bolster leather. -Some recent work has included a new radiator and top coolant pipe, lower suspension arms both sides, O/S front wheel bearing, N/S rear calliper, new coilpack and a new headlight unit. I have looked after this car with the intention of keeping it and I am advertising it only on the Corrado forums at present (exactly where I got it from) because I want it to be looked after and ideally to stay within the forum community as these cars are getting quite rare now. Say £40? Not really sure what it's worth, but I'm pretty sure I paid £60...it has the horn or something on it too I think. I'm in West Sussex.

I've got some running issues with my car and have been replacing parts to try and resolve this. Sadly I still havent succeeded and replacing the MAF has achieved nothing. I now have a spare (and apparently faultless) MAF that I'm happy to sell on to anyone who needs it. I'm not sure what the going rate for a used one will be, my new one was £130 and is just the same as the old one, so I'll say £100 or make me a sensible offer... Also have a 16v front bumper and slam panel sitting in the garden at the moment too, so if anyone wants to give me some cash to take them away that would be great too! Cheers, Simon

I have just started to sort out the car ready for the summer (perhaps a little late...) and I have an issue with a lumpy/weak idle and some stalling. I've narrowed the issue down and now know that the MAF has pretty much given up. I have been quoted £160 (GSF) and £180 (another VAG supplier) for them new. Is there anywhere else you can get them for something a little bit more sensible? I'm considering selling the car but won't let it go until it's completed sound and back in good running order.... Any ideas or help is much appreciated. Thanks, Simon

Wanted to keep it original and not muck things about. It's not running smoothly so I wanted to leave it standard for now. Part sourced and fitted thanks :D Now to find out why she's running so rough then stalling (overfuelling by the smell of it...)

I'm south coast based and have a spare larger/deeper size splitter in my back garden. It's cracked on one corner and only really sits there because I've been to lazy to sell it. Hi, I don't know if anyone can help, but I need to get hold of the parts shown in the link below (PCV pipes). Sadly I have already paid for these parts from a forum member who has told me he sent them to me twice; I have still not recieved them or been given any proof of posting. My car is currently off the road due to this issue and I'm paying a lot for insurance and tax for nothing. If you have a spare or can find one in your parts then please do help me!! Hello mate, I totally forgot I messaged you about this. £15 quid posted would be fantastic. I was about to go out and try to get one brand new tomorrow. Will that be the whole pipe from the inlet to the head or just the valve. Thanks, Simon

As stated, I really can't be bothered with the hassle of posting. Sorry. I was literally walking down the drive to chuck it all away then thought I might as well offer it up for free if anyone is actually passing. Posting requires getting boxes, making sure its all packed nicely etc. I literally live on the A27 as it goes through Worthing and often see Rado's passing through. Like I say, most of the stuff if probably absolute rubbish left in there. Drop me a text on 07811 747 054 if you want to head over on Sunday, althought it will need to be before 2 as I have guests in the afternoon. Sorry to anyone who got their hopes up of postage! I've decided that I'm going to sell the Corrado in a few weeks and have started the process of clearing all the crap that I've held onto. I found a few litte bits that anyone driving past might want to pick up. There's no point them waiting around until I sell the car because all the new parts are ON the car and will not (I hope) need replacing again for a long time...also I need the space in my garage for motorbikes, cycles and other mechanical toys!! The boxes include: -A bonnet rubber (where it sits on the slam panel) and full set of front washers and hoses -A bonnet catch and bolts. -Two headlight glasses and one partially broken head light unit -Some spare fog unit backings (I think) -I haven't been right through the box, but I'm fairly sure there will be a few other possibly useful small bits in there... Drop me a message on here if you are interested in it all? I'm not asking any money, I just know from experience that Rado parts are a pain to get hold of and don't want to waste any more away! I called up and gave that part number and he told me that price. How much did you pay? I'll have a look around once I've sorted my new water leak. That's a bit more pressing at the moment!! Cheers in advance tho if you do find the delete pipe.

This is very true. I just got back from Australia and my car threw a right wobbler. Water leak, ignition switch, wheel bearing. Once it's all put right it all ends up being worth it!!

The valve assembly is £46.96 includin VAT from Ford. I'm sure that can't be the right part?! It's a tiny plastic valve with a tube!???

I have just noticed that the pipe between the air filter trunking and the top of the head if broken. The connector is actually blanked of in the pipe so I'm assuming it doesn't actually do much. VW don't stock or sell the part and more and neither do GSF. I guess someone probably makes a replacement of some sort or somewhere someone has a spare one? Can anybody help please? It is broken right at the top between the start of the pipe and the valve at the top... Any help is as always, much appreciated!! Thanks, Simon

Awesome guys, thanks very much. Took me about 30minutes, easy to replace. Had to bend a little screwdriver to get out the holding screw, but it wasn't too hard to get out. Car is back on the road for the first time in months!! Lovely.

Thanks guys, I tried hooking up another battery and jump starting it. Still nothing so I've gone and got the ignition switch. Sounds like fun fitting it, going to have to wait for the rain to stop first. Cheers for the wiki link. Should prove invaluable. Hopefully I'll have a car that actually turns on and goes again soon!

The battery is defo not the issue. It's been on charge and all the lights are nice and bright. No click from the engine bay as far as I can tell. Just found out my old man gave it a try whille I was away and it started once when he wiggled the key. Think it must be the barrel. How easy is that to replace? Likely costs going to be big? Are VW about to rape my wallet? Thanks for the help guys!
