Hello, I need to get hold of a drivers side wing, a slam panel and the section below it (front beam), indicator and foglights and the surrounds. I'm going to be sending the relevant parts in for spraying so paint condition is not a problem. I just need them to be in a fairly good condition. Please help. PM with details and I have cash waiting!! It's my daily driver so I won't keep you waiting!! Thanks, Simon

N Reg Green Storm spotted at Sainsbury's in Worthing this morning. Looked nice sitting in the sunshine amongst the boring jelly mould rep-mobiles!

Second hand price for a set of kerbed BBS RX228 (17x7 1/2) ???
FenderSi posted a topic in Drivetrain
I have a friend who works at a breakers (not perhaps the best way to start a thread...) but he has had a set of decent wheels and tyres come in as stated in the title. I have always liked the style and they retail at around 800+ for a set of 4 new with tyres and ready to roll. The guy who owns the place has asked me for £270 for the set of 4 with the tyres on but they are substantially kerbed; to the point that I'm not sure if they are salvageable. I have been in contact with an alloy refurb place and the guy said he's done BBS rims before and damage levels aren't of any huge concern (anything can be done for a price I suppose?) apparently I'm looking at a cost of around £340 to make them look new again. -Can anyone give me any thoughts on if they think either of those prices seem high/low/about right? -Any other words of wisdom as I've only ever gone with new or as good as new rims previously. Is the finish likely to be as good as I would hope? -Are there any tell tale signs to look out for when I inspect the wheels properly later this week? Any help is much appreciated, Simon. -
Hi, I'm looking for some radiator top mounting brackets (L-shaped) that slot through the slam panel and stop the rad wobbling fore and aft. The two sides should be slightly different in length due to the slight angle of the radiator... Any chance you have these? If so how much for them posted? Regards, Simon

Dark coloured C spotted near Worthing station yesterday. I flashed you and gave a wave, not sure I got a response, maybe not a forum goer?

Modded White Rado seen driving through Broadwater (Worthing) today late afternoon. Modded up with alloys, crystal lights and more. Seen it a few times, gave a flash, not sure if you saw me!!

Dark coloured C spotted in the car park behind Brighton station on Sunday evening. Not seen one in Brighton recently! Anyone on here?

How loud is the ticking you guys have? Head-turning? I'm pretty sure mine is buckets/lifters too but it seems quite loud. Presumably after a while damage will occur? I have been recommended some 'hydraulic element' stuff to fix it, anyone got an opinion or some advice?

As long as they clear the disks then yes. I got my Borbets from a Mk2 and they popper straight on fine. Only two inches in it and the standard disks arent that big.

Spotted: -Blue VR on Shoreham flyover earlier this week (maybe the same car as below) and unbelievably there were people sitting in the back seats? -MII VAG (VR Storm!!!) passing my house on the A27 through Worthing. Seen you a few times!

Cleaned and shining, fluids all topped up nicely, replaced the wheel bearing (with the ABS plate inserted this time...) but then split the CV. Restart again next weekend...

H Reg Green Pearl/Aqua blue C spotted in Halfords car park Worthing and followed down the A27; not really much of a response to my eager shuffling around - I decided not to start flashing and beeping due to the traffic! Maybe not a member tho?

Just thought I'd add another thanks. Had a problem with my fan after having just replaced the rocker box cover gaskets - was thinking it was a totally new issue but I think I must have just given the run-on sensor a bit of a wiggle when putting the bolt back through the head. Thread saved me going out and buying a new thermostat switch only to find out it wasn't even that! Gotta love the corrado forums! Thanks again!

Red Rado spotted driving along Brighton seafront towards Hove approx 4am this morning!

Car is looking very nice! Would be interested to hear what the engines putting out... Need to get under mine and tidy the bay up. Can I ask how much you paid for the engine before it was modded? I need a new project!

New Rado looks nice - not that many around in Yellow that I've seen. Have to give you a thumbs up on the other cars too! Have a friend in Biggar so if I'm ever up that way I'll keep my eyes peeled/sunglasses on? Good luck!

Yeah, the wheels I always dreamed of - never expected it to become a reality really. They are 16x7.5Js. I think the 9s would be too wide for the arches...also ironic that todays banner picture is another rado on Borbet As!!
-
Thought I'd post some pictures of the new wheels on the car - a months hard labour, but money well spent. Corrado's just suit Borbet As! Will be selling the others if anyone wants them they will be on the other section of the forum.

Saw the same car as Shaun going through Worthing westbound, looked nice and LOW, red/burgundy with split rims I think? Also an interestingly badged 'JRS T' going through Shoreham northbound on Monday, off towards Steyning?

You are safe. The roadside grey box cameras only work in one direction, and I often see the taxis setting them off going too fast down the wrong side of the road. A couple of mates used to set them off by going the wrong way just to annoy the police by making them waste their films! Can say I have set it off a few times and I've never been done - not by one of those things anyway!
