It's not too bad as I have access to the composite bay on the military base I work at which means we have all of the consumables including vacuum pumps and heat lamps. I'm going to have to give it a go after Easter!

Yes I am applying a layer of carbon fibre instead of putting leather. The main issue with making carbon fibre parts is the need for a mould and pressurised oven(autoclave) in order to produce parts without imperfections. It's a very expensive process to set up but one you have the tooling it's relatively easy.

Yeah I wish I had the facilities to make bonnets and wings etc but it's just not possible on a budget. At the moment I'm just skinning parts with a single sheet of carbon fibre. I wanted to do the doorcards as my interior is all black leather apart from thee doorcards and I wasn't going to pay £200+ for a set of leather ones! Plus I don't think I've ever seen this done!

The 6mm spacer is to space out the carrier as the 312mm discs have a higher offset. You'll need longer bolts too and they have to be rates to a certain tensile strength. I've also bought slightly longer hoses for the from as I believe if you use the standard hoses there is a chance they'll be over extended. I'm sure there is a sticky in the drivetrain category that tells you everything

Have you changed the fuel filter at all? It sounds like its struggling to maintain fuel pressure

Hi all, I'm after some parts to recondition so that I don't have to completely dismantle my car. - front subframe and crossmember - front hubs and wishbones - rear beam - vr6 engine/gearbox mounts - fuel tank straps - vr6 gearbox in good working order - I would consider a bare 2.9 abv engine that has decent live left in it and doesn't smoke! Thanks for all of the replies and I'll try to answer any questions: My car was leaking from the cabin intake at the base of the windscreen on the passenger side. This was because to fit the new blower assembly you have to drill some holes around the intake to hold it in place but unfortunately the person who fitted it missed the first time and drilled additional holes. To fit the system you will have to drill some holes being the dashboard to pass the hoses through. I believe you can use your original heater matrix but I've included the one that was fitted in as I have replaced that too. My under tray has been chopped and has been rushed too so I'm looking to get another one so will include my chopped one in the sale.

Hi all, I've just removed this system from my Corrado as I had a water leak in the passenger footwell from it being badly fitted. The system includes: Pump with correct drive belt Condenser with mounting brackets ( unfortunately the upper connection threads are stripped) All hoses (although I believe the One that connects to the top of the condenser is stripped) Dryer Blower assembly with evaporator Heater matrix assembly with non leaking heater matrix Entire loom including dashboard switches The picture above shows som cracking of the evaporator housing where it joins to the heater matrix. I never used the system in the car so don't can't confirm that everything works I would prefer is the purchaser could collect fro gosport hampshire as this would be very difficult to post £100ono plus postage
