  1. I'm sure a little shim could be made to widen the switch. I reckon they will fit pretty well in an early centre console. The Octavia switch looks like it will need relays. Well worth a check out though. Ta
  2. Hello all, As many of you who have tried to find and install heated seats know the biggest pain is finding and paying extortionate amounts of money for the heated seat control relays. So when trying to fix a friends heated seats up the other day we came up with a solution. (see attached picture) Essentially it involves mounting mk4 heated seat switches in the centre console, these already have the resistors built in so no special relays are needed. All I did was changed the illumination over to green and made up a mk4 heated seat loom to fit a Corrado. So, what we have here is a pair of switches, green illuminated and a complete loom to wire up your heated seats. All you need now are the seats. Price is £75 posted.
  3. No problem. Glad to see a happy cup holder :)
  4. In my opinion it's like, well, night and day. I saw a huge improvement on my Corrado. It'd be interesting to see if others who have fitted them noticed a difference. The best way to tell is to get a volt meter and check the battery voltage with the engine running. Then put the meter across both the headlight live to the battery earth and vice versa. subtract each headlight figure from the battery figure and then that is how many volts you are losing through your current system. That is how much you stand to gain. Hope this helps. James
  5. Yeah I have a light grey version. Pm me for payment details. Thanks
  6. Thanks for all the feedback guys, really appreciate it :)
  7. Good idea Ben, mine is glued in with wickes contact adhesive and that seems to be holding up.

  10. As far as the Cream goes, without a piece to match it to I wouldn't do it as if it was mismatched it will look awful. If you have a spare piece around then I can match it up. If not shall I count you in for a black one?
  11. I painted up my spare early dash to match the red leather in my car, only issue I found was that my late centre console wouldn't fit into it, so had to paint my original. Anyway, the upshot of it is I have an early dash that has been painted in flexible durable BMW oxblood red leather dye. It's not perfect but will look smart with red seats (I have pictures of it in the car if you wish to see.) As several of the brackets are missing screws and I had to remove the bottom bracket, its really FREE to a good home. Collected from Braintree, Essex. Will post at buyers cost. Thanks for looking
  12. Here I have my old green check seats from an early 16v. They are in near mint condition. Bolsters were new last year. The only thing that's not perfect is that the drivers seat has a drivers base and a passengers back (it was impossible to find a mind drivers back). All mechanical parts function perfectly. Looking for £100 collected from Braintree, Essex. Will post at buyers cost. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.
  13. The surround is indeed included, it fits directly into the original centre tunnel. With regards to fixing a little contact adhesive will do the job. they are a good fit on their own. Hope this helps.
