Well got myself into a bit of a dilemma and cant really decide what to do after looking into turbo charging the rado or supercharging now starting to think that it might be best to sell it and get a mk5 gti always loved them since they came out and know they are up there with the rado for being a drivers car .I love the corrado to bits but just is not fast enough for me i love the feel of turbo powered cars ,so i could do the corrado but with parts being such problem these days and garages not really wanting to help with the exception of d&g, stealth which are miles away. It becomes abit of a nightmare. I have put a lot of time into the rado and its in good nick no rust really but again something else to worry about it . Would like to get a gti and keep the rado but cant afford to do that but i know if i sell it i will pine for it , stupid corrado's. Up side of gti though is spend £1500 on a remap milltek or whatever, inducton kit and wam bam thank mam 260-270 bhp . but then no v6 growl or electric spoiler see what i mean cant make up my mind . whats your thoughts

Put the standard airbox back on looks loads better

All the good things you hear on this thread about this kit is starting to make me think this is the way to go after all the :censored: i had with storm and the rotex kit . The only thing that worrys me is that being most things are becoming obsolete for the corrado that putting this much money into it then struggling to get parts is a bit of a put off .I have rung a few companys for insurance to find out what it might cost to run and for 5000 miles a year as the rado wont be a daily the cheapest quote was £659 fully comp with a value of £7000 and a £250 excess so not bad although i would still need to insure another car, Was alot cheaper the i expected thought it would be way over a grand for 360bhp+ :)

Looks sweet love the wheels , Funny how you can see the a3 in the background and looking at the rado it does not looked dated compared to it . from most angles the corrado really is such a timeless shape.

some bespoke company needs to start making alumimium body parts and sills to keep rados going for ever . hate seeing things like this makes you worry about whats underneath your paint :pale:
-
Keep the vr its the nicest colour but i would say that :) .

Right Had a call from the guy at storm was like really sorry and could not apologise enough he said that someone with near enough the same name as me ordered the same kit as me and he recieved his first hence the mix up with the order not to sure what to make of this as 3 months is to long in anyones book. Now i had contacted ccr racing in norway to try and get a kit direct from them they sent me an email sayin i should try there uk partners storm developments   . I emailed back saying i had, didnt go into to much detail but there got the idea. So what happens next i get email from ccr sayin there have contacted storm to find out what went on . Guessing as ccr might well be the main supplier for rotex chargers for storm they got a bit of s*** probably is not to good for them as i think all those rotex r32 coversions is there bread and butter. Well ccr email and tell me a kit is on its way within a week which is what i think the phone call from storm was really about . I still have my money refunded which is good and told storm that when the kit is here in the uk to call me and maybe i will have it but under the circumstances in which all this has occurred there is a slight loss of confidence in said company . Just missed out on the rotex kit for sale on vr6oc forum which is a bum , should check it out more often.

If you like the idea of a blown S2000, this might whet your appetite :D - http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.p ... year-or-so. I love the look of S2000s. I can't remember who it was I was speaking to on here who used to own one, but apparently the handling is pretty scary! Would be quite the handful with boost I would imagine! I'm so glad you have swerved Storm Developments and got your money back! Thats wicked s2000 are really nice and you can pick them up quite cheap these days, Still not sure if i could part with the rado for one. I have heard handling is bad on pre 2004 models and in the wet there a no go :norty: .Like you say a blown would be a handful indeed. On autotrader these days pre 04 s2000 aint bad money but then you can get a porsche boxter for the same sort of money and they have rave reviews too .

Right spoke to tts they were really helpful pretty stunning what they do with a s2000 bet that must be a right laugh rear wheel drive too. There can do a c30-84 kit all in for £1700 leaving me to get brackets pipe work air filter and injectors if i can do all that for a reasonable price its probably worth doing. Just feel its a fine line between doing this and payin the extra for a stealth turbo kit which after mapping might not be alot in it. Food for thought though

no need for the central locking kit just the the modules and key fobs are needed i am about to hit the garage and have another go at it stupid thing only brought it as it looks like such an easy install in general i dont like after market alarms and stuff they mess the car up but this looked easy but having a few problems
