oh this is on topic for me as last week put a neuspeed induction kit on and a full miltek cat back with decat pipe thinking i might make 5 bhp lol . the results are before induction and exhaust 193.1 bhp and 182.3 IIbft after induction and exhaust 193.3 bhp and 175.6 IIbft so there you have it spend 500 quid for .2 bhp and lose 6 odd IIbft money well spent save for a turbo forced induction seems to be the only way for the vr6

Would have to be an audi r8 for me from the same stable too :)

I had a white valver back in 2000 loved that car had it for a few years spent a fortune on it then some friend crashed it for me which broke my heart . couldnt afford to replace it at the time so had a coulpe of golfs and e30 bmw then brought a 99 passat 1.8t which i ended up turning into 310bhp monster and it was fun, peoples faces when you put your foot down :D . Here is the good bit my girlfriend got me one of those track days in an audi r8 which was fantastic but after my 4 or 5 laps in it i got out and turned to my girlfriend and said i have to have another corrado cos it was the only thing i had driven in recent years that reminded me so much of the corrado so now i have a storm grey vr6 which is great .

Non Daily Corrado Owners- How often do you drive yours ?
rado2 replied to VWVW's topic in General Car Chat
Drive mine about once a week like to get her out on my days off just to use for for fun. i love to drive the the corrado and seem to just get carried away when i go for a spin if i used it every day i would never get to work on time . only really use it in the dry these days too . winter time try to go out as much as possible but will sit for a couple of months or more if the weather is really bad like last year. -
thanks for the replys been off line for ages computer been shagged . Well an update for you is i took your advice and went back to the stealers and they were very coy about the whole thing tried to tell me it was not that bad and that it was not leaking brake fluid so with this i did lose my rag somewhat left the car with them thinking it would get sorted . Next day they phoned me up told me it was all sorted so went over to pick the car up. fair enough brake fliud leak had been fixed that was never leaking :censored: and as for the axle itself well its just been rewelded up to a poor standard and guess thats as good as it gets . the guy even admitted to me that he had ringed the allen key nuts off on the compensator so could not get it off and didnt want to remove the whole axel . So i think what i will do now is send a letter and a copy of the photos to vw themselves just to let them know the standard of main dealership work and maybe they will do something about it .

Your opinion please went to my garage today to have my milltek decat and cat back exhaust fitted and what a nightmare does not fit too well and cant stop it knockin on the axle which is a bit annoying . but whilst under the car the technician noticed this . see photos. Had the axle bushes done at the main dealers a couple of weeks ago maybe less, and the technician at the garage today went a bit crazy to see that it was leaking brake fluid to the point the resevoir was nearly empty which i had not noticed seeing as it was done at the main dealer didnt think to check it. also the brake compensator has been cut from the axle and welded back on by a 2 year old and when i went back to the garage to complain they told me thats the only way to do it with a corrado mk2 golf and mk3 golfs is this true. i think its a lie as the allen key bolts on the compensator are all rounded off . i just feel that this kind of work from a main dealer is unacceptable am i being too fussy or would you agree thanks for your input in advance .

R32 / 3.2 24v Audi conversion guide

Good work makes a interesting read going for a leak down test on the vr tomorrow and if the engine is past its use by date think i will go down this route so the guide will come in very handy  -
missed it last night but saw it tonight was really enjoyable the veryon was amazing. and senna is a god and the f1 cars were the the best in f1 history in fact all the best cars were built in the late 80s to mid 90s but we already know that .

Hi wondered if anyone can help or has had the same problem when i start my vr6 from cold it really smells of fuel and if you look underneath you can see fuel dripping from the chassis box section where the fuel lines go in . So you would naturally think its the fuel lines right !!!. So why is it that if you switch the car off and start it again the leak stops and when the car is warm no sign of a leak at all . Wierd hah. The car flew through its mot yesterday and i pointed this out to the guy at the garage and he agreed there was traces of fuel but could not find a leak . He said he didnt think it was the fuel lines as they are under so much pressure fuel would piss out eveywhere all the time . I have noticed the foam that is inside the chassis box section that protects the pipes breaking up so defo leak somewhere anybody got any ideas . thanks in advance . :salute:
