smoked my rear lights.. i didn't like them as they were too bright for my liking just used some e-tech tint spray can say its completely noob proof:D

ive just had my valve gasket replaced its deff coming from the left corner were thr cylinder meets the block im 100% sure.. sorry just realised in my first post i put head .. but i mean were the head gasket is

alas when i thought all was fine i notice my 8v is weeping a little oil from the right corner of the head near the dizzi cap ... its not major leak (looks like ive spilt a little oil wen topping up) .. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? will it be ok if i leave it if i keep my eye on my oil level ?? i no the vr6's do weep at the left corner of the block .... any help would be really helpfull thanks bexs

cool just ive seen some adpators on here and he is selling 30mm or 20mm and ive been told 20mm will look lost in the arch ...

ive got a set of D90'S the 8" ones will 30mm adaptors be too much?? im on standard suspension at the moment bexs x

right just after buyin my c i noticed my drivers side front wheel is on the wonk.... \ ...... (bit like that but not as bad ) i thought it was just that the alloy wasnt put on properly or maybe a spacer .... but then someone the other day asked if my hub was buckled ?!?!?! this sent instant horror through me as ive just shelled out on about £300 for a massive service !!! i thought it may of been my alloy (it pulls to the right quite badly when i let go of the steering wheel ) but there isnt a wobble that i thought you would get from a buckled alloy the mechanic said i need new anti roll bar link bushes as they are worn .. could this lead to my wheel being at a angle??? help pls also if i need a new hub anyone got one?? :) thanks bexs

Which scrap yard do you use ? The one near me in Bloxham is rubbish, people just rip stuff off for the hell of it and brake it. ive had a few problems with her but ive left her for months before and she turns over sweet ... i would think ur alternator is on its way out ???

went to our local scrap yard this moring (as u do) to see if i could find any bits for my c , all my breather pipes (bar main intake ) were split and very perished and my local stealer had quoted me £45 for them :mad2: ... as i was giving up i saw a mk3 golf gti which had only just been dropped off there as nothing had been taken off yet but i thought it would prob be a later engine or a 16v ...... but noo it was right and got all i wanted for a mear £2 all pipes and clips look pretty brand new !!!!! :) so i suggest always go down your local scrappie before going to stealers you never know what you might find :clap:

Just had the same fault on the same car, ignition barrel needed changing as some of the wires were shot. Also double check the two small wires form the - on the battery case they are shorting out. (sparking)

Even though its been devouring my bank balance for the last month or two ... i like it again today I put all my dash together and replaced my membrane in the drivers door (had a rip at the bottom) and gave it little clean :) next thing is a full service and then porsche D90 rims and lower it.
