it had a £800 service and a new mot before i bought it (have paperwork to prove ) otherwise yes that would have been the first thing i would of done:) im more thinkin in the long term just few bits to give it a little more omph.

Hello, I have just purchased a 2L 8V :) :) I know there are a few threads already outlinging what to do with cams etc.. But from peoples experience, what are the ''best'' performance things to do? I.E - Chip/Remap vs Cams? vs exhaust Are there better remap/chips out there than others? and or what would be the best cam for this engine? Sorry for all the ?'s but I'm new Many thanks LILB :D xx

well its just had cambelt done and a service which is good :) i look after my cars so ill prob end up replaceing some of the major componants (sp) just for piece of mind :)

im looking for either a 1.8 or 2.0 16v ive seen 2 now, one of each both sheds :( looking at a dragon green 2.0 this weekend (my fav vw colour) :luvlove: im PRAYING its in good nick its a l reg and its done about 160k i no german build quality is solid on these engines but you never no :)... i think its because i had a old mk1 clio 1.8 and i threw so much money at it i eneded up witht he fear that it was gonna break and i really dont wanna go throught that agein :(

hi ive been looking for a while now for a corrado , but as i dont have huge amount to spend the ones in my price range (£1400) are all around 160k on L to a N plate .. i was wondering is this pretty high for corrado's??? i was also wondering if anyone could tell me any problems that they have had (if any) with one with alot of miles on the clock. thanks lil b

hi im loking at buying a carrado at the moment but my budget isnt very big (£1500) alot of 1.8 16v about for the price but not very many 2. liters ... ive test drove a 2. and from the short journey i could tell i would love the torque of it compared to my mk1 16v clio .but as i said there isnt many about so was wondering if anyone has had both 1.8 and 2.0 and is there much difference between them ????? thanks
