  6. spotted red g60 K***VWC going through polegate high street this afternoon at around 1 ish flashed and waved but no response!!
  7. spray water on each panel one at a time, apply farcia G3 to each panel. use the polisher on speed 3 being careful not to get too carried away on the edges!! as this could burn through the paint, keep polishing untill all G3 has dissapeared, then next panel etc... then wash car throughly to remove all G3 residue, chamois off and polish with autogleam super resin
  8. have just spotted the most awesome metallic orange corrado, black alloys with orange rim, K reg, parked up near caffyns volkswagen Eastbourne today 18.15pm
  9. hi im after some advice on lowering my corrado. It is a 94 M 2.0 8v, has 17" alloys and the ride hight is just too high!! its completely standard at moment. What i want is the cheapest way to lower it and need to know how low people reccomend? i really dont want it too low, but just enough for the arches to meet the tyres? i guess that just the springs would be the cheapest option? 35mm?
  10. bordeaux red corrado spotted on A140 norfolk yesterday at 3pm ish in a bit of a hurry!!!

    front splitters

hi, just a quick question, sorry if it sounds stupid, but am i correct in thinking that 90mm is the biggest/deepest front splitter on the corrado? :shrug my neighbours got a 90mm on his vr6 corrado, but my work collegue has also just fitted one to his corrado, and it seems a fair bit deeper? so was wondering what the biggest one is?
  13. black vr6 M137*** yesterday at 7pm ish Wish Hill Willingdon flashed and got a wave back  looked very smart!!
  14. cheers mate, yeah another possibilitie?
  15. black G reg 16v today at 3pm in langney eastbourne looked very clean, and also a white one M*** VRG heading towards polegate bypass at around 5pm today, seems to be a lot more popping up in eastbourne :D
  16. oh is it a common problem? even while just reversing normally? ok mate i think i will start with a clean up and grease then :D cheers mate!!
  17. HI ALL, i have just noticed after the last couple of days, a very annoying squeak coming from the brakes when reversing. This is without touching the brake pedal, when slowing down or braking in normal driving conditions, there is also a very slight squeak, but not as loud as in reverse :confused4: any ideas?
  18. yeah  would the badge also need to be lacqured to get the gloss finish?
  19. someone mentioned to me that because of the chrome, i would need a special primer :confused4:
  20. this might sound like a silly question, but does anybody know if there is any special primer you may need to paint a chrome corrado badge? i fancy the badge in flash red but at the moment its chrome, and i have looked everywhere for one but with no luck :( so i thought i would paint the one i have :confused4: or would this not be such a good idea?
  21. red G reg, with black alloys, today at 2.15pm ish, aproaching roundabout near halfords in newhaven, looked good, and very low!! :D
  22. £295?? i use to have to apply this for a local main dealer where i was working, i also know that the kit comes in three stages and costs the dealerships £45!! so, NO, its really not worth it at all, our local prestige car dealer charges £495, for supaguard, same sort of thing, but they only last up to 4 months, and depending on what car shampoo you use,it could strip it all of anyhow :(
  23. yellow H REG 16V on black 18's going through hailsham high street today at about 2.15pm, looked very smart :D
  24. just seen a black vr6 K136*** in a 4 wheel slide on the steep camber of seaside road eastbourne, well controlled but bloody close miss!!!
  25. ok, i have found the wires with a plug on the end of them, i am guessing this should plug onto the sensor, the get positioned into the hole on yhe lower grill? can you still buy the sensors? its not a "must have", but its nice to have things working as they should :D
