Golf Mk2 G60 Turbo Charged, Can It Be Remapped/Chipped HELP!
Polo Classic replied to young lad's topic in Engine Bay
Pitstop can map your engine to suit. I think they already may have a suitable map too base it on as well. I'm going to remap a Corrado G60 using a T3 60 on a ATP manifold, redtops and 3,5 bar fpr in a few weeks The standard G60 cam will probably work better than a 280-300 degree cam, they will mostly make it spool later. -
SNS, or custom mapped by Pitstop Development :thumb right:
-
Always do that myself, and didn't realize that, edited now
-
What do you think of these? They are from a RX7
-
I think you should go for 215/40-16 next time around on the tires. 205/40-16 is not safe on 9-16. When are the people on the rainy Island going to learn  Love the rims though. Tried to convince my brother to buy BS's when he bought the Keskins

The prices of chips beeing so low, I cant really see the point?

You can't The original question was how to remove the 6304, 6002 and 6003, not the NU202 IMHO, if you can't manage remove the bearings, get someone profesional to rebuild your charger
-
Got it at the local Biltema here in Norway ;)
-
Are you using special tools like bearing extractors? Nope, not needed. Use tool for mounting oilseals
-
You do not need heat to remove any of them

I use Turtle Emerald series, mostly because its carnuba and very easy to work with. Mostly because I am lazy though............
-
yes, but by the time they need changing, you might just as well do a full rebuild
-
Either a Golf GTI Limited or a Touareg TDI
-
That looks mighty tempting....thats about ~$400USD. great price. It is around 199 EUR=240 USD=£134
-
Will also put more load on your bearings inside the charger. A bit like putting some extra wide wheels with negative offset on your car

You guys complaining about 60 quid fines? Here in Norway I would be charged with fraud an could face up to 2 years in prison for the same stunt

Looking to fit a set of these. Need some advise

I'm using 35 and 45 mm thick adapters on my 7-16 ET 65 on my G40. How thick adapters depend on how far out you want the wheels -
steel pulleys normally slip less than alloy ones, but they do slip. What pulley size and belt length do you use now? Do you have AC?

215/35-16 is not aproved by dunlop on anything wider than 8-16. No tyre manufacturer accepts less than 215/40 on 9-16, it is not safe
